This morning was as black as the fur between my patty paws!
WOW, our Central European Time will be 10:47 pm when the days will be getting BRIGHTER AND LONGER!
Well, all of us around here are going to celebrate THAT, for sure!
Maybe I’ll wake up a bit earlier tomorrow and check out the sunrise just to make sure these guys know what they are talking about and not slipping a minute or two more of BLACK, COLD morning into our wintry lives.
I mean it was BLACKER than BLACK this morning. I actually was allowed outside as the weather was a bit warmer, but it was so dark I think I might have missed my favorite mulchy garden…er…spot…for…uh…let’s drop the subject.
I’m going back to my warm little bed for a few more winks on the longest day of the year, whatever winks are.
Mama says I should close one eye.
Are you kidding? I’m closing BOTH to get FORTY winks, haha.
(Forty? Thirty? Can’t remember..)
Hey, no Wordless Wednesday around here today. I was just feeling loquacious, whatever that is. Also garrulous, haha.
I’m ready for spring, Loulou!
Boy, Ernie, so are we and your card is WONDERFUL. Merci.
Loulou you stay nice and cozy as we get closer to the time when Santa will be visiting us all. My stocking is hung by the chimney with care (haha) and I plan on spying on Santa when he comes down our chimney (I told Dad he can’t have a fire in the fireplace Christmas Eve so he doesn’t burn Santa’s buns!). My Mom says she wishes she could give you and your Mom a Christmas hug but it will have to be VIRTUAL! I send you love too.
Hugs, Teddy
HAHA, burning the buns is NOT good at Christmas…Maybe just a little fire for your mama and papa for their nice Eve and then you can put it out while you are sneaking a look at you-know-who!
Loulou,
I am so happy that we have turned the corner and we are heading towards the light these next six months. Hip, hip, hooray! Soon, the ground will begin to warm up and many plants will spring up in your garden.
Say hello to your mama, papa, and the sweet donkeys for me!
We will say hello to ALL and we miss you two SO MUCH. Maybe your kitty could visit next time for me to play with….
Loulou – we’ve had such joy this year reading your delightful commentary on your fascinating life with your dear mamma and papa – we know them! did you know that ? – and we’ve met you too. Tell your lovely mamma I’m sorry to be such a lousy correspondent but that I love her and miss her company always – merry Christmas to to you all from San Francisco.
Oh, mama says to tell you that she misses you two TOO and misses her Babsy friend with whom she has had such fun and lively moments in her life. WE SHALL MEET AGAIN, says mama. You can bet your boots! Hug Charlie from all of us and hug yourself, especially.
Our feral sweeties will be glad to have more daylight hours!
My feral MAMA will be happy, haha. Well, not feral, only sometimes…
Glad you got to get a breath of fresh air. XO
Yes, I miss my garden but it’s so COOOOOLLLLDD whatever that spells.
We are expecting a BIG STORM (all over the whole middle US) so even a minute more of possible sunshine is a psychological lift.
Oh, watch out for that storm. We read about it. Keep safe and warm, Ms Mary.
Live it up, Loulou!
In the sunshine, or in the dark…
There is a storm bearing down upon us, to hit in a few days.
Snow, cold, wind, dogs and cats living together!
Some not-for-children words are being spoken by the humans here, as we have had enough of Winter for now…and it hasn’t even started yet!
Haha, we are saying a few of those, too, but mostly about that Putain guy….
