1. My favorite holiday tradition is ___having Christmas on the 24th at night and then a nice present-opening and then on the 25th a nice lunch and when mama was a kid, playing with her new prezzies, like making her Tiny Tears wet the bed and cry, haha.
2. On Christmas (or Hanukkah) I plan to fill up on __latkes and salmon eggs, er, that is, mama will make the first one in honor of hanukkuh and friends who are celebrating that holiday and I will have TWO MEASLY SALMON EGGS! If that…
3. ‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house __this #@$@#!!&ˆ&^ MOUSE WAS STILL ON MY TUMMY!
4. A smile and maybe a few black-eyed peas__ is the best way to spread holiday cheer___and good luck in 2023!
Did I miss something? Has Santa come? OH, THANK HEAVEN HE IS STILL ON HIS WAY!
LouLou you are a sleep yoga master! Merry Christmas my darling friend.
Well, someone has to do it. So I volunteered for sleep research.

It won’t be long now…before Santa Paws gets here!
I am WAY behind on my hellos. But hello anyway and I know you had a lovely holiday on that beautiful island.
Gosh Loulou – that mouse is persistent – it must love napping on your warm belly! Your Christmas/holiday traditions sound wonderful and I hope you, your Mama and your Papa enjoy every second of them. My Mom ALWAYS has black-eyed peas for breakfast on Christmas morning – her Mom insisted on that so my Mom carries on the tradition. We send you warm hugs and wishes for a special and healthy new year!
Love, Teddy
Well, mama forgot to buy black-eyes for the FIRST TIME IN xxxxx years but they are arriving this week and will be ready for New Year’s. Our rule is that all of January is okay, too, haha. We usually have some in the freezer but we ate them all this winter, haha. LOVE those peas, cooked with BACON or ham hocks and crisp sage, garlic and olive oil. Drool….
You have a beautiful sleep yoga position, and i wish you a blessed and beautiful Merry Christmas!

We are snug at home while the wind blows, and the temps are frigid.
It’s a good thing that I have stacks of books to read!
YES, books. Ask you mom if she knows Camilla Trinchieri mysteries. A pretty good look at Italy through her books. Like Martin Walker in Perigord. Lots of food things, num, num.
