Well, I seem to have a drinking problem.
I drink quite a bit of water, but my nice doc says it’s normal with diabetes and I need to get the sugar out of my system. Fine with me.
I am thankful for so many things, I wish there were one big thankful basket into which I could put all of my merci, grazie, gracias and more, but for today, I am thankful for a dear friend in Italy who has lost her husband and for the many, many friends and family who will surround her with love.
I am thankful that the birdies are singing spring songs and that the bees are returning, even if not as many as before…
And as always, thankful that we can read what so many others are doing in their lives through wonderful blogs and thankful for the friends we have made over the years.
Sorry to leave you, but I need a drink…
Uh, mama, could you not watch, please?
You must keep yourself hydrated, Loulou!
Yes, I will need water wings soon, haha.
When you’re thirsty, you have to drink, LouLou, that’s just the way it is, we do that too😸 We hope you’re feeling fine🙏 Double Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to you and your mommy too🐾😽💞
I am feeling fine as wine in the summertime as mama used to say long ago, haha. Thanks to B12.
We’re sorry for your friend in Italy losing her husband….it must be such a huge sadness and life adjustment. With help from friends like you and others hopefully she will “find her way”. As for you drinking – GOOD! Must do that when you have diabetes and besides, water is yummy. I have three water bowls – one on each floor of the house – and I visit all of them every day!
Hugs, Teddy
I have mine in three rooms and downstairs, too, and yes, water is important for anthros, too. Take your weight in pounds and divide by 2 to get the amount of ounces you need. Divide that by 8 ounces to a glass and you’ll have the number of glassed per day that will speed the plough, if you get my drift, haha.
Speedy ploughs are the best kind to have! 😉
Yep, they get the mirth turned, haha.
I’m so sorry about your mama’s friend’s husband. That’s so sad, Loulou. I’m happy that she’s surrounded by good friends though. Drinking water is so good for you, so drink away.
I’m about to do that RIGHT NOW, merci for your kind words.
Drinking fresh water is a very good thing to do, LouLou!
We loved reading all your thankfuls.
Sorry your Mama’s friend lost her husband, that is so sad and such a hard thing. Bt yes, a circle of good friends and family is so supportive in times like that.
We are seeing the return of migrating birds, too, and the finches are changing from a brownish green to bright yellow and black.
Too early here for bees…but when our cherry tree is in bloom, its buzzing all the day long. We can hear it in the house if the windows are open!
Have a great day,LouLou! Enjoy your *doya*…that is what our toddler son would call water, and we still use that term so many years later, LOL!
Oh, we love your bird knowledge and reports on seasons, merci! Love ‘doya’…we have words like that, too, as in ‘tempty baits’, referring to a canasta card that looked good but would screw up the taker later (from when papa was a kid, traveling with his parents) but now mama uses it in the kitchen to offer tempty baits to people.
Drinking is good for you sweet Loulou, so have a double for me! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Cheers, Mr B.
Wonderful things to be thankful for. I would think once you started insulin, you would drink less. XO
Well, now I actuall am drinking less than before, but several times a day. Good point.
Do you like Mama to watch you drink ? One of my kitties prefers to drink from a faucet, so I sort of keep watch.
Oh, that is so cute!
Loulou, keep drinking!
Our Sweetie drinks water too, but not Da Boyz.
Oh, merci for the info, but I haven’t seen Da Boyz lately! We love those two and their antics.
