Thankful today for grandanthros who know how to TREAT A KITTY!
Unlike some I can name who INSIST I eat my Cosequin, which, in my book is ARGGGGHHH….
But the vet who saw me day before yesterday said I should have it as it works.
Speaking of the vet, thank heaven his office has a SINK. It was hard to get me out, haha.
And of course we are thankful for all of you out there who give mama such good advice and kind thoughts. Have a ticklesome Thursday.
Oh, I forgot, we are REALLY thankful for the news on the Orange-Haired you know who.
How sweet to see yo soaking up the rubs and pets from one of your visitors.
Yes the cosequin does work.Pipo took it too. We used human tablets, broke them into the right dose size and just used a pill popper to put it where he had to swallow it, and not spit it out…no butter etc…but he got some kitty treats afterwards to help get it down the rest of the way, since it didn’t need to be on an empty stomach.
(The pill popper for cats and dogs looks sort of like a long thin syringe, but it has a little pill holder at the end, and then when you press the plunger in it goes into the back of your throat…and you have to swallow! A reflex kind of.)
Mama has good news for you that you might want to try: mama gives me B12 mixed into a spoon of goat yogurt, not cow. Today she put the Cosequin powder from a cat capsule (Cosequin for cats) into the yogurt with the B12 (which I LOVE) and I ate ALL OF IT!!! YAY YAY YAY. And we have a pill popper but mama decided to try this first. YAY YAY YAY.
Nice to see you getting some pets, Loulou! The cosequin does come in a treat form. Is that what you’re taking?
WOW, that is interesting but is it very caloric or have sugar in it? Mama will research that but this morning she mixed it with yogurt (goat) and B12, which I love and I ate all of it. YAY YAY.
It looks like you’re being properly adored as you should be, Loulou. Now that’s something to be thankful for.
Oh, I am so thankful, and for distant friends like you, too.
You look like you’re enjoying some extra attention from company dear Loulou. I understand your affinity for the vet’s sink. When I first came to live here I spent a lot of time lying in the sinks in Mom and Dad’s bathroom. So nice and cool and Mom would fill one sink up with water and that’s where I had my drinks of the day. I would only drink water from the tap. Mom retrained me – besides I couldn’t jump up on that counter at my weight!
Hugs, Teddy
Haha, we love imagining you in a sink, Teds. I found it hard to get out as I couldn’t grip the metal! But Mr Vet did it for me very gently.
Glad you are enjoying your company. XO
, they are very enjoyable!
At least you are being properly adored LouLou ! We hope you can take the Cosequin (our kitties hate it too) as it seems to be helping. Purrs.
Oh, Mary, how do you give it to them? I turn my nose up unless it is disguised REALLY well and mama doesn’t want me to have too much duck fat, haha.
It sure looks like you’re having fun Loulou, that’s a good thing! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
And thank YOU for hopping good Thursdays.
Getting in that sink was a smart move LouLou! I’m glad you have a grandthro to give you the attention your smart self deserves.
Haha grandthro is GREAT. I’ll let granthro know her new name in the family.
Loulou, it’s always delightful to be properly worshipped, isn’t it?
Mais oui, it is our proper place, non?
