Says it all, no?
The truth is, I was NOT traumatized at all. This is just the way I look when I pose for a paws pic! Mama’s little granddaughter snapped me to put on WhatsApp – her idea but really, folks, I do have better pics, non?
A question: Does anyone out there know of a kitty race that someone allergic to some kitties could adopt? Little granddaughter’s mamma might let her have a kitty if there was one that did not make her mamma sneeze and wheeze. We’re doing our research, too.
Mama was affected, as a child, by kitties, but when she grew up and found her first little lovable tabby, her allergic symptoms DISAPPEARED. Just an interesting little piece of info….
Have a terrific Tuesday everyone.
Mine has begun quite well….
I am allergic to a lot of cats, but I found it to be much less with oriental cats. Hence all ours were ‘meezers. That is why I never slept with hem either, not because I wouldn’t like it, but because I didn’t want to risk an allergic attack that way…with the extended close contact.
There is also special shampoo one can buy that supposedly lessens the proteins in/on their skin and furs that cause the trouble.
I believe Purina makes a food that does the same thing.
Merci, merci, and yes, Ms Ellen mentioned Purina. But the kitty is not yet with the family, only a Pippo dream, haha. Mama’s granddaughter wants the cat and so does her allergic mama but they have not come to an agreement yet and they are ALL away from home at school and jobs all day long….which makes for a lonesome kitty.
That sure is a purrfect beginning of the day, you little sweetie pie😸Think about a Sphinx for the little girl, LouLou, no sneezing on this one, but as cute as we all😸Good Luck Pawkisses for the searching🐾😽💞
Oh, lovely idea and mama says they are so interesting and so beautiful and so…so…Egyptian!
I have to admit Loulou, you don’t look very happy in that picture!
Well, there are some days like that!
Aww, that look says a lot, but it is all love. Allergies do go after repeated gentle exposure. And sometimes it can just be getting some dander in the eye that causes a reaction. Mrs H gets that occasionally, but even though she has asthma and hay fever, cats do not affect her. You may have already seen this link, but if not it is quite useful. https://www.petmd.com/cat/general-health/hypoallergenic-cat-breeds
MERCI thank you so much. Mama will look at this for sure for her stepdaughter, and mama feels the same way.
Hi Loulou, we think that is the cutest photo of you EVER, and you take oodles of good photos. Spinx kitties are hypoallergenic, as they are hairless. Don’t forget to visit Stinky & Periwinkle’s adventure, as you are included in the International Cat Day celebration. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer, Kizmet, Audrey & Raleigh
MERCI for including me, and what a treat to be a tiny part of your lovely kitty family who delight us each day.
We now there are cats that are supposed to be hypoallergenic, but other than the hairless ones, like Sphynx, we aren’t sure which ones. Someone else will know in the comments. Mama probably outgrew her childhood allergies.
Well, she probably did, but she still retains some of her childhood other things haha. Like wanting to ride the kiddies merry go round in our little village….
That’s quite the look on your face Loulou, too cute. There are quite a few breeds that might work. Here’s a link:

First of all that’s a GREAT photo of you and your Mama. Your Mama looks like a teenager and you look like you’d rather be on the ground but if it’s Mama holding you – maybe you can stand it. Tee Hee There are some breeds of kitties that don’t stir up allergies….tell your Mama to check this website:

Hugs to both of you lovely ladies!
Teddy (and Mom too)
Merci for the site and mama will pass it on to her granddaughter, when mama’s stepdaughter approves! It’s the mama who is allergic, but the main problem always is that both parents work and kids are in school…which makes for a lonely little kitty or doggy…..
Oh, wow, mama is blushing, and merci for your kind words. Mama says it’s because she hid her wrinkles with her hair, haha. I think having a kitty makes ANYONE look younger, right, Teds?
I love that photo of you and your mama. There is a cat food by Purina that makes cats have less dander so people with allergies won’t get sick. I will send a link to your mama. XO
OH, MERCI yet again, Ms E! And we are thanking Dr E every day now that things are…uh…hitting the mark more often.
great photo of yoo loulou, that furst wun. Hey, dee mum herd yoor mum fabric designed fur jamswerld, dee mum ownz 5 dresses frum jamswerld, each ov a different fabric design, which design iz by yoor mum? iz it dee wun called pasta? dat iz dee mumz fav. mum sez dee nekkid catz is hypoallergenic, but they needz to haz bathz regularlly
YES YES THAT’S MAMA’S design and how wonderful to know it clothes YOUR mama, too. Mama had her own dress on just yesterday! Maybe there was some channeling there, haha. These funny moments are always such a treat. Our minds are connecting over such vast distances and how did you mama know about my mama and Jam’s World. Mama has 5 dresses TOO and papa had five shirts with sushi and fun things but the most beautiful was a pear design by another artist and it has disappeared. We knew the original owner, now gone…a great man.
mum will post dee photo on my bloggy. dee mum watched and bookmarked a vid ov yoor mum making focasha fur reference(found it by wandering online), still gonna do it sum day, bot dee yeest. mum haz 5 hattie dresses, wun iz white wif fishes, wun is called merlot(she thinks) wun is called desert mist, den pasta(fav cuz it iz bloo)and wun dat is totally hawaiian print
WOW this is such a coincidence and so ticklesome. Papa had on his pasta shirt last night but we wish we had the others, too. The clothes are not the same any longer. Mama is going to fish out the dresses and take photos for you (soon…after family leaves).
Loulou, my veterinarian says there is no such thing as a non-allergen cat.
There are antihistame regimens that a human can go through to become NOT allergic over time; ask Miss Ellen.
Since you asked…
Wow, then what are all these websites that feature non-allergic-to kitties? What a world. Good advice and thank you. It is probably an individual thing. Mama fell in love with cats and dropped her allergy, or she just grew out of it, as a dear blogger mentioned.
You are so incredibly adorable LouLou! As far as allergies go, if it’s fur there is always the Sphynx breed, but if it’s dander I don’t think there are any breeds that don’t have dander. Good luck!
We are thinking that that is a fact…dander happens, right? Maybe daily thorough brushings help. Mama does that for me. Or for her, haha.
