Just warming my tummy on a nice flagstone. Hmm, no flags around here, interesting name for a stepping stone, no? I see more curiosities from my new existence than I did before…
Well, mama cried over this video about the baby whale trying to save its mama and we thought it would be a good Tuesday treat for everyone.
The mysteries of the deep are…well…deep! So sweet this little tyke.
Uh, maybe not so little but still. A whale of a son!
What a beautiful video…..whales are so so very smart and can communicate in their way magnificently. Glad this had a happy ending – it touched our hearts!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom
Ours, too, and we cried…all three of us.
The English name “flagstone” seems to derive from Middle English flagge which meant “turf,” and in turn came from Old Norse meaning a slab or chip. Thus, it’s a flat stone, like a slab of stone.
Looking up word origins is fun, I even have a dictionary of etymology, which means word origins. Sometimes I read it a bit just because.
Oh, merci, mama has that dictionary too and loves etymology. We should have done the work for you but look what fun it was, haha. THANK you so much for tickling our brains.
Love that video! And also the picture of you Loulou, beautiful light and beautiful kitty!
Oui, and merci. We love light and stories like that one to lift our spirits.
That was a wonderful video LouLou ! We enjoyed the picture of you in your garden too !
Oui, I’m lurking around as always because…well…frankly, I’m unforgettable, and it’s nice to be that.
LouLou, we still have a cold stepstones…is there any possibility for you to warm it up for us too✨Here’s an extra Pawkiss just for you🐾😽💞
Oh, you sweet kitties, I would love to warm your flagstones!!!!!
I am afraid to watch the video unless I know it has a happy ending. Could your mama please email me and let me know? Thank you. XO
It has a very happy ending because mama will not EVER put baddies in my blog and she doesn’t even read anything any longer that has negative messages….which rules out most news every day!
That is very lovely although the robotic AI voices they use (and who speak too fast) for these commentaries make me cringe.
WE FEEL THE SAME WAY. Human voices should be HEARD not imitated. So pathetic… You will get much from Thomas Friedman’s article on where we are right now.
