OMC, we didn’t realize how bad the hurricane was until we saw the video on Brian’s Home of their neighborhood in the aftermath of the storm. Unbeliveable.
I wish I could have helped…
We hope so much that the power is restored to that part of the state and that there will be help from all sides to clean up the damage.
Mama didn’t get to plant her fava beans before she left for Italy but a little thing like that is chicken feed when you think about all the other events going on in this disturbed world.
On another note, the debate will be interesting…
We hope you have a ticklesome Tuesday, at least for a few moments.

And these dresses are to show to a blogger that mama cannot REMEMBER, someone who has the same kind of dresses and they are just comparing items. I think mama needs a memory pill…..she thinks she remembers but is not sure! It’s a friend who comments all the time but the old noggin is just not working…
The dresses are beautiful.
Yes, the damage is awful. It’s going to be a long, slow recovery.
Oh, Messymimi, such a tragedy. We were flabbergasted at the video we saw! But there are many help sites and work has begun to repair.
I’m glad you saw our neighborhood. Everyone is helping each other out, which is as it should be. Kindness is important!
Still reeling after the video. We hope so much that it will be back to normal soon. Do the trees get used for firewood? At least that! Or sold to generate funds for the tragedy.
Well, I remember seeing your Mama’s post with the dresses but I don’t remember who. Was it Gidget’s Mama ?
The videos of the flooding are horrendous. We pray for all there. There is at least one kitty recue in the Asheville NC area which was one of the worst hit areas. And of course wild animals as well as all the pets.
Oh, mercy me. Those poor animals that suffer during any natural catastrophe…sigh.
The rescue I was looking at did say they evacuated all their animals before the flood hit. but the shelter buildings and all were destroyed.
Oh, MERDE!!! We hope the city has funds to rebuild them. Those poor sweeties, probably scared and hungry and wondering what happened.
oh those r pritty hatties dresses
IT WAS YOU, Gidget. Mama is sure dat yoo both hav de same hatties designer.
I just left their site. How awful. Hubby has been following all the news about the hurricane. Awful. Prayers for all those affected.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
