Hmmm…whoever got that chocolate was very lucky!!!
Well, here’s thanks that the storm has passed and that rebuilding and recovery has begun. A long road for sure.
And mama is thankful that an order of chocolates that was NOT delivered to the correct address of a friend in LA for his birthday will be replaced and sent again!!! Mama wrote our friend’s daughter who told us that the chocolate had been delivered across town to another person with another name! Go figure. DHL was the delivery company. We shall solve this mystery soon…
We are continually amazed by and thankful for bloggers we read and responses from some and all of the great news of other parts of the world that we get from them. Merci, ever and always. Mama wishes she could read more and comment on the amazing number of blogs she sees!
Donc maybe I could help more with that…in my very spare time, haha.
And we will be truly thankful when the world realizes that T and Vance are snakes in the grass and both very good at appearing to be human.
How these companies manage to mess up so badly boggles my brain, especially with GPS. One company delivered a package to me meant for someone in the next neighborhood up the highway, so I drove it over there and gave it to him. The delivery people called to say they needed to get the package and deliver it to the right place and I told them not to bother, I’d done their job for them. They were rather surprised.
Amazing, you! And how kind of you to deliver for the mess-up company! We have deliveries from a company I will not name that will not deliver because they say we were not home. WE WERE HOME ALL DAY and have two doorbells! Just didn’t want to do it so left it at the post office…..argggh.
Dang, missing chocolates is never a good thing but getting them reshipped is a really good thankful. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Let’s hope the company takes care of the mis-delivery! Love the HOP, you’re so great to do it.
Glad the chocolates will be replaced. XO
….we’re hoping, too, for that one!
So ! Your Mama made TWO people very happy – especially the person who got the unexpected delivery of chocolates ! And aside from the inconvenience Mama is not out any $$ for the shipping error. Thank goodness the friend’s daughter let her know !
We shall see how this unfolds…more on the saga when we have it….
Missing chocolates, what a tragedy! I bet the person in the next town was very happy though.
Well, it was the same city but in LA it’s like another town, haha.
Snakes are sneaky aren’t they? I bet the recipient of those chocolates is furry happy. But let’s hope the right purrson gits the right box.
To be continued….
TBT doesn’t order so much fancy chocolates (as you pictured), but he does love extra dark Lindor truffles and will be ordering more soon.
We, in the meantime are thankful that major Hurricane Helena “just missed us” and basically just watered our lawn well.
Oh, how incredibly fortunate you were! And yes, Lindor is a very nice chocolate!
