On my pink and blue clouds, dreaming of love…
Well, mama was a sucker (as were papa and I) for this sweet story of late-in-life love.❤️
All of us here are thankful for these two and any others who might find love late in their lives, and we are really thankful that their children accepted it so willingly! Sometimes that’s a problem, but that thought goes straight into our poubelle!
We are so thankful, always, for friends across the pond and bloggers everywhere who keep in touch in these confusing times, especially in winter, which needs all of the uplifting from anywhere that it can get! It’s snowing already on our nearby LOW hills, and it doesn’t do that very often around here.
We’re thankful, too, that our three feral village kitties have someone feeding them along with mama, when she can, but all three look pretty fat and sassy to me as I make sure they are safe. Everyone around here is pretty partial to kitties, so we’re lucky, and doggies are always on leashes, which helps a lot! Mama will try to get two more portraits of these darlings tomorrow. So far she has only succeeded to snap these two.
We are sure that you are thankful for something in your life today.
I have to say that around here we’re pretty thankful every day of the year!
Mama will have Turkey Tips on Friday or Saturday, which might make your turkey-bake a bit easier and keep the white meat moist. Personally, I’m for the leftovers….love those tidbits stuck with a little stuffing. Of course now I can even chew on the bones, haha.
I’m happy the feral kitties are doing well!
They are sweeties but only two can be snuggled.
Love is great no matter when we find it…..sometimes it comes at the “second or third (or more” time around too…age has nothing to do with it – it’s the HEART that counts.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
Mama LOVED that story…we knew you would, too.
I love that sweet story so much, Loulou. It’s never too late for love. I’m glad that the feral kitties are being fed, they’re so cute.
They really are such cuties and now a bit cold. Mama ordered two little weatherproof houses for them…
Awww, Loulou, that is sweet about the older couple! So good to hear also, that your Mom, and other neighbors, are all helping care for the ferals in your area. Love all the pictures, but especially yours, Loulou!
Awww…merci, Ms Leah. These little kitties are…sort of…a substitute for mama and papa right now. We’ll see what the future brings.
That’s a very nice thankful and love is always wonderful. Thanks for joining Angel Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
