Pepper-uppers, haha.
These Lipstick Peppers (all colors) are sweet as sugar when roasted in a hot oven for about 20 minutes. Mama sprinkles them with gross salt and eats the whole thing, so, so good and good for you!

Roast little Lipstick peppers (very sweet) in a hot oven. Brush with olive oil and roast for about 30 minutes until nice and seared. Pop in mouth and smile. SO good for keeping the winter bugs away.
The Lady loves roasted peppers!
Ahhh, she will love these easy to roast peppers. We eat them held by the stem for appetizers.
Yum, looks delicious! You look like you’re having a good laugh in that pic, Loulou.
Oui, I have a lot of good laughs lately…watching what anthros are doing in the USA…but it’s not really funny.
OOoh I wondered what you could do (as well as same old same old salad)
Well, these are pretty tasty and easy.
Sounds like a nice peppery treat!
Oh, they are a treat and so sweet AND peppery.
Those peppers sure are pretty!
Brian’s Home
And tasty, too. And full of vitamins.
They look good. XO
They are really good and more digestible than big peppers.
Do they have to be roasted or can they be eaten au naturel? (with salt of course !)
Oh, by all means, au naturel with salt although mama pops one or two raw with NO anything on it. So sweet these little jewels.
I think Mrs H would try that, if we had an oven, MOL
Maybe with a sprinkling of cheese and less (read as no) pepper would be even better
Have a wonderful and healthy week!
ERin
You can roast them easily in a skillet as well as in an overn. Poke each one with a knife before cooking to let out the steam and sauté in a little olive oil, putting a lid or weight on top to flatten them as they cook. SOOOO delish.
Sounds tasty – but We bet Mummy would scoff them all and not let Us eat any!
HAHA and she would be doing the right thing, haha. Not sure they would agree with you kitties.
