Well, our very nice neighbor and his very special wife are just about to WIN a lawsuit that THEIR neighbor instigated because the owner of the building next to our neighbor didn’t like the ‘look’ of my friend’s garden!!! Can you believe that? Here is the garden in question, which I look at from our garden every day and marvel at its beauty. The awful suer also said that “there is a compost pile that is not pretty” and that “there were old shoes hanging on the wall of the garden and garden gloves.”

So this is an eyesore?  You have to be kidding!

Really. Is this guy nuts or what? I thought he was kidding but he actually brought suit against a GARDEN!!! As far as I’m concerned, this guy is a turnip himself! He has his roots in the wrong little town, haha. Or maybe he just needs a nice bit of composted manure sprinkled over him to help him GROW UP, haha.

What a turkey. Except I don’t wish to grace the family of birds called turkeys by letting our neighbour have the description…

Let’s just say he’s a slug and the judge in the case has gotten out his salt to end this dispute!

Bravo for my sweet neighbors who have one of the most beautiful vegetable and fruit gardens I have ever known, and mama and I have known many gardens in our visits to friends. This one is a jewel, plus it produces lots of good food for the NICE neighbors and people of our town.

Some of the produce Jean shares with the neighbors!

I feel a bit sorry for the cute little teacup chihuahua that belongs to this nutcake, but the doggy seems to be doing all right, even if his master is a lunatic. Maybe animals do not always reflect their owners’ weirdnesses, thank heaven.

I, for example, really do not like artichokes and mama is CRAZY for them. So in that way, I’m not like her at all and stick to my cat chow…

Our neighbor’s violette artichokes

But in many other ways we are very alike. We try to be kind to others and NOT BRING LAWSUITS AGAINST OUR NEIGHBOR’S MAGNIFICENT GARDEN!

Bravo for Jean and Christine, the sweetest people imaginable to have next door (plus they love me…).
