Are those sweet eyes, or what? Sixteen years old and still like a puppy!
Oh, boy, my friend, Mya in France, sent the most BEE-OU-TI-FUL video of the last living 9/11 rescue doggy, Bretagne (which is pronounced by all, Brittany, but which, in French, is really bruh-tan-ya but who cares because in any language she is so sweet, so kind, so responsive and so special!) and I want to share it with you today because it pretty much speaks for itself as far as heroines are concerned.
Okay, okay, her welcome may be a little over the top, but when you think of what this doggy did after 9/11, you’d probably be ready to have her move into your extra guest room and order breakfast every morning!
Even I, a lowly kitty, felt that I could be good friends with this amazing doggy.
I had more than a few kitty tears this morning when I saw the video…
I just love Bretagne…I wish I could meet her.
I hope you have a hanky ready…
Paws up for Bretagne!
Boy, is that special doggy or what?
Great video. She looks so healthy, both for her age and for having worked Ground Zero. That was a special day for her and her handler.
I found her quite amazing, and so youthful even after such work. A lovely doggy, just like all of yours.
You are right. Good thing there is a tissue box next to the computer!
What a beautiful story. What a heaven-sent beautiful dog!
I bookmarked the story. It’s the kind of good-tears story we need once in a while to remind us the world is still a little sweet and good.
Yes, and what a good idea. A reminder of courage is such a grand thing.
