Breadsticks at a local bakery on rue Blacas
Well, mama thinks you CAN live on bread alone (and with papa, of course) and has started out to prove it in this amazing city of breads, pastries and chocolates.
Today I am just going to make your mouth water. My mouth is doing just that as I dip my fresh, crunchy grissino into my Purina chopped cod with sauce. Num, num. But maybe not best that you try this at home, haha!
In cappucino, maybe? Or a good pasta sauce? Or guacamole?
Whatever they are…
Palmiers (puff pastry palm fronds) that float out of the basket
You expect me to eat this stuff without my BREADSTICK?
Remember your beloved on the 14th!!!
Mama and papa were married on the 14th so they would never forget.
The mom LOVES bread…and you sure made her mouth water with seeing these.
Everything looks so good. I hope you got your breadstick. That is sweet that your parents got married on the 14th.
Well, that has always been a special day in mama’s family and making Valentines were part of her childhood and papa is romantic and so it went…
Mmmm, all those breads look delicious! Especially the crispy ones.
Even with your little oven you can buy pizza dough and roll them into long strips and bake them until brown.

Well, they actually let me try one but it was too hard for my (few) teeth. When I was a feral cat, my teeth sort of suffered and now I only have a few left but I can eat just fine if it’s not hard to bite.
