Well, this is just about the sweetest story Mya’s mama has ever sent to us.
And I am particularly touched because I know for sure that having a security blanket/rag/’nana/piggy is very good for one’s health. Mama thinks I get a bit lonesome at times, but we haven’t really covered that completely. After all, I’m sleeping a good part of the day and night and don’t have a lot of time for socializing but still…
Here is the story:

Is that darling or what?
I wish my piggy mask were SOFTER!
One of my cats, Pepper, used to drag around a pink bunny who kept saying “somebody loves you”. He drug that toy around for months (it was a Valentines gift) until he dropped it into his water dish one too many times and rabbit quit talking to him. He ignored it once it was quiet. Do you think he loved it or was trying to kill it finally?
Oh, so funny and I’ll go for the loving bit…Hard to kill a stuffed bunny, haha.
What a sweet story. When Wally was little he used to carry around a stuffed leopard toy. It was almost as big as him. 🙂
OH, WALLY, how we all miss you….but how much joy you brought to us all!
Awww that is the cutest story, Loulou. I think you need your own furry friend – oh, but wait, you have mama and papa and that’s just as good.
But they are NOT furry enough…
Loulou – never underestimate the value of our furry little friends – even if we can’t have live ones! I change “best friends” regularly – and the latest has been my little cat that I drag out of the toy box and bring to my bed and prop my head on him (or her?) and there’s “Bébé Mya” – who looks like me and Dino (the dinosaur who squeaks and Albi the fox – they rotate and keep me company. But mama says I’m baaaad – since when I’m done sleeping on them, I toss them in the air and shake them. She thinks i have S&M tendencies. Whatever that is. SO, Loulou – you need a menagerie!!
I think I need a stuffed Mya to have as my friend when she’s not here…
That is so sweet.
And mama loves piggies.
My cats have never been big into toys, but stories like this just “get” me. Maybe it makes the cats seem more like a child, or maybe I remember my own love of stuffed animals as a kid, or maybe just how “even an animal” needs some soft comfort sometimes. Plus it makes us humans appreciate how little we really understand our fellow creatures.
I know, I know, I feel so misunderstood, haha. Especially at kibble time…diet still in effect. And mama LOVED stuffed animals, too.
That was a really sweet story!
Well, it’s good to smile right now…
Oh, that was so cute, LouLou. My brother who’s in heaven now, had a stuff cat, that actually was of my twofeet brother, but angel Bobo made it his own. It’s so awwdorable and you are too😸Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞
Oh, so sorry for your brother but so glad he had a “friend”….thank you for visiting.
