Oh, oh, this has to be the sweetest little critter on earth (aside from baby kitties, that is understood) and how lovely that the Australian couple saved him.
This little cutie pie even made MY day, because I watched his antics with mama and we both cracked up!
I just hope this darling made your day a bit brighter. How wonderful of so many people to take in abandoned critters and raise them so carefully. Not sure about those front teeth, but…
As for putting animals back into the wild, we would love more information on that, because in Australia, many koalas were released again into the wild after the fires. An interesting subject. I just wish there were not so many sweet animals left without a mama or papa or simply abandoned by BAD anthros.
So now, I guess, Floss will have to vie with this adorable wombat for mama’s attention, haha.
(Hey, better to just lay it on ME!)
A ‘nana is no substitute for getting attention. He never says a flattering WORD!
There are lots of fires going on right now in OREGON. I am worried and sad for all the outdoor animals in those areas.
And mama’s sisinlaw is in Sonoma. Terrible air.
Aww…what a sweet little baby, and you are very sweet too, LouLou😸Double Pawkiss🐾😽💞
He is so, so cute and thank you.
Loulou, I just like the name ‘wombat’!
ME, TOO! Sort of like ‘platypuss’…
What a sweet little wombat!
Loved that wombat but oh, those teeth…orthodenture for sure!
What a cutie that wombat is, Loulou, and so wonderful that he was saved. 🙂
And is so affectionate! You must have seen many in Africa, no?
Oooo – I want a wombat!!! Can they be housetrained? Or they could wear diapers! Such a cutie-pie! But it may eat my food – never mind! Tomorrow we leave for Italy – a short trip – coming back Sunday. But the CAR! I don’t like car rides!!! Oh well, once we ge there, I will be the Princesse in my pousette!!!
Wow, you’re going for 5 days? WOW. Be careful…
NO – 4 days – we leave Sunday!!!! oooooh the CARRRRRRRR!!!!! Loulou – yu understand perfectly!
ECK…Just read a good book in the back seat…
On the cable channel National Geographic Wild there is a show called “Secrets of the Zoo Down Under” that shows a lot of koalas, wombats and other amazing Australian animals. There were special shows about he vets going out to help animals in the fires too. I don’t know if you can get it in Europe but you can probably find something on the internet.
Mama will certainly search for that one! We have Wombat Wonder around here. Who knew how cute those little critters are, and smart! I think….
Those really are such cute critters!
And who knew just how tame they could be?
Oh that little wombat was so tiny and is growing up knowing only kindness and love. That’s great and what I would wish for every animal AND human – now if the WORLD would just cooperate and be a kinder place then it could happen!!!! Thanks for sharing that video – it made us smile.
Hugs, Teddy
Well, it did its job! We are so happy when others smile at our crazy ideas, but who could resist a baby wombat?
