Relaxed, at last…and so, so happy for papa.
Well, GOOD NEWS! Papa has had his surgery and is recuperating (recuperer—great word in French) beautifully, mama tells me. And boy, is MAMA happy!
Even today on the day of the operation, papa got up and walked twice! But he is taking everything slowly until the surgeon says he can come back and cuddle me…er…return home.
I think that’s more walking than I did today, haha.
I am so laid back without them snuggling me constantly that I’m taking advantage of my solitude to grab some private moments and keep up my introspection, meditation and yoga.
Ommmm…
So glad to hear your papa was up and moving around soon after surgery. My grandpa had surgery a couple of weeks ago where they removed some of his intestine. I wonder if they repurposed it into jump rope or something. Tee hee hee.
Oh you are one baaaad kitty and who knows, maybe they did. Do you know how to jump rope?At least they didn’t sew my papa up with cat gut.
Isn’t it wonderful that human medicine has advanced so far to get our peeps back on their feet so quickly! Even with the physical therapy that may still be needed, it takes so much less time to recover than in the past.
Your papa and mama will be so happy to have your extra healing purrs to help them as well as all the purrs and prayers from all of us too. Here’s to a healthy recovery to all of you!
Luvz, Patzy
You are so, so kind and yes, mama AND papa are marveling at the speed with which they got him up and running. It’s a nice suture also! Very neat.
thank goodness your Papa came through with flying colors!! YAY!!!! Send him (and your Mama) love from us!
Yes, I’m trying to locate those colors but I know he did come through with them! Thank you for your kind encouragement.
That sure is terrific news, we hope your Papa is up, about and pain free soon!
He is up and about already and THEY will be back tomorrow!!!!
oooooh – we are SO glad with the progress – and the wonderful doc you two found!!! Loulou, I know you miss your family, but they will spoil you “even rottener” when they get back!! Yippee – we will drink to Papa’s fast recovery and Mama’s HUGE sigh of relief tonight – I think The Westminster would be appropriate. And we will see you SOON – YIPPEE!!!!!!
Oh, for mama and papa to celebrate at the Westminster…whatever that is. All I know is that it’s Mya’s favorite bar, haha.
What wonderful news about your papa! So glad he is through the surgery and on to recuperating. You’ll be a big help in that area when he gets back home. So practice snuggles and purrs.
Oh, I’m gearing up for BIG snuggles, right on his head.
I am glad everything went well. I know you will take good care of him when he gets home.XO
I am now officially called Nurse Loulou.
We are very happy to read this, LouLou !
Boy, are we happy to have written this, too! More in the blog.
