Hey, you don’t forget things in your sleep, haha.
Well, now I know what that means! Just like those professors who seem to forget whatever it is they forget.
I was watching The Good Fight with mama and papa and I clean forgot to do my blog! My little pea brain was so absorbed in all those things being blown up in the credits that I simply found myself snoozing off into Never Never Land.
Hey, it happens sometimes. Especially after having rolled a bit too long in the nip or overdoing it on the water…
So I’m turning in a bit early with mama and papa this evening but I’m pretty sure that a nice big handful of kibble in the morning will get me back on my paws and my memory operating like a well-tuned Ferarri.
Oh, speaking of which, I forgot to tell you that mama didn’t really like hers that much (her paws didn’t reach the clutch and brake easily) so we got our money back.
I thought that maybe she’d rather have an ice-crusher or something for her margarita-making I’m not sure that putting ice cubes in a cotton chef’s hat and banging it with a meat cleaver on the patio tiles is really state of the art…
But who’s worrying about that right now…?
LouLou you need to get her a little hammer. No need for it to be silver plated or anything
Mama has TWO hammers, so maybe she’ll try those but the big flat one works pretty well. Plus if she had a hammer, she’d hammer in the mornin’, she’d hammer in the evenin’ all over this land.
Ha ha ha ha Loulou, that is precisely what I do to crush ice, and it works pretty well.
Oh, we bartenders have to stick together, mama says! Now she doesn’t feel so out of date…
Loulou, did you just finish that glass of wine? Bet that goes well with nip!! Well, Mama went out last night with her friend from New Orleans who’s in Nice for the summer and only had ONE glass – but lots of water. It’s so hot we all have to keep hydrated. Whew – mama going for more coffee to brace for the news of the day. Gets scarier and scarier these days!!
You’re tellin’ me! My country ’tis of lies we sing.
Nip can do that to you 🙂
And boy, this nip is primo! Acanipco Gold, er, green.
Wait…your mom didn’t like a Ferrari???
You know, you’ve got to reach the pedals or all is naught.
Gosh – our huMom says she didn’t think Ferraris were particularly large cars. (The few times she has ridden in a Corvette, she felt she was about 3 inches above the road.)
But when it comes to Meowgaritas, whatever Mama uses as an ice crusher that works should be ok.
Well, it is a chef’s hat and a hammer. Will take pic and put in blog. SO retro!!!
You may be 3” above the road but those cars are long and if you can’t reach the pedal you can’t drive. My mommy went looking for an MG many years ago and couldn’t reach the pedals either so she tried the Triumph Spitfire and yee-ha! That was the car for her. Fit perfectly but repairs on a British car in the US can take months. So it wasn’t good for an only car, but sure was fun!
Today she still likes all her cars to be as tightly steered as that Spitfire. No play in the wheel at all. Where you turn is where you go. Now she can afford two cars, she really misses that Spitfire!
You may wish to know one day about mama’s ‘car’ days. She had a TR3, which papa said was a flying coffin! Got rid of that. Had an MG midget, which fit her, haha. Then there were the Cobras…….
Yep, now mommy is looking for economy as she drives 2+ hours a day going back and forth for work. She has a Chevy Spark which she loves as it gets 40 miles per gallon and is a 5 speed and drives like a little sports car but is practical too!
Sounds wonderful. Mama is taking a look…Japanese?
Can’t take the ‘Sports’ out of her for cars! That’s for sure. Not my mommy at least!
Well, our mamas would surely get along well!
Your mama does WHAT to crush ice cubes?
Yeah, that’s what I ask, too!
