Le front being mama’s forehead.
Well, I hope it’s not too early to report, but mama’s head still seems to be attached to her neck, and from what she tells me, she has a pirate look across the left upper forehead. Here’s her take on it, but I am just glad that she came out in one piece, haha. Actually, it was quite a neat operation and well-executed (uh oh, not a good description) by a nice surgeon in Nice, Dr. Rouanet, who clearly knows his business. Now we wait….more later. I think it’s not really what you could call “comfortable”…but at least it’s OVER!
Aw, your poor mama. We hope her head heals fast.
Her head is finally on straight, haha, thanks to the doc.
Glad you have that taken are of!LouLou needs you, and we do,too. A regular dose of LouLou puts e in a fine mood for the day!
Oh, that is so kind! And a regular dose of mama puts me in a good mood, too. She’s back, bandaided, but a little tender on the forehead…
Well, Loulou, I kept your Mama (and Papa) entertained the last few days – and boo-hoo – they’re headed back. But they miss YOU beaucoup. And hey, she has probably started a pirate look fashion trend on the cote d’azur!! But it’s very subtle and she looks great – no bruising – nada! She just needs some of your snuggles and life is good.
Well, Mya, that little mouse you sent with mama is WONDERFUL. I squirmed and squiggled and played with it as soon as mama gave it to me. MERCI BEAUCOUP. THEY had too much fun with you, Mya, but I guess that’s a good thing. And they CERTAINLY had fun with that dish your maman cooked and all the other meowments together.
Well, LouLou, with you there to oversee your Mama’ recovery – I’m sure she will be in fine fettle soon. Many hugs to the there of you .. Hugs Grandma Ros
Oh, thank you, Grandma Ros. Mama’s head is fine, we all think, but I’ll report a bit later when they arrive today.
I am glad your mama is OK.
Thank you, Ellen. She told me it was sort of “asleep” but I didn’t want to call her a numbskull, haha.
Glad things went well for the surgery. Now your mama needs to heal, so give her lots of extra cuddle time.
I just won’t sit on her head.
Dear Suz,
How long will you be in Nice? What was done to your pretty forehad?
a MOHS type procedure or some snipping and stitching? Foreheads have so little fat to cushion, just like the bridge of the nose. I had a MOHS on my nose and it gave me the heeebbee jeebbies.
You have some waiting? Looking for ……?
Drawing a self portrait right after the event! Very Impressive.
Discimfornt aka pain, hope this does not last long. Are pain pills involved?
With great fondness, Keila
None of the above. Papa had a MOHS on top of his head once and it was a real ordeal to get the two parts back together, like a tug of war! But mama had a SMALL thing, one-inch incision, and has no pain, a tiny swelling and best of all, no black and blue. There’s a thing one can take to help avoid les “bleus”, the blues, the bruises. Magical, evidently. I’ll see her later and will report. And perhaps meet YOU one day soon!
Oh dear, we hope your mom is okay!
Keep us informed please…
Noodle and crew
Mama is fine, and still has her pirate poultice, haha. Who know what’s UNDER there, but all will be clear in a few days. No danger.
Good news ! Is she waiting on a biopsy ?
No, biopsy was done before and that’s why the removal was done. But the doc does send out whatever he did to make sure he got everything. Papa says he feels confident so we’ll see. I’m visualizing for mama, whatever that is.
No head bonks, no matter how glad you are to see each other !
OH, I have to remember that for a few days. But I did give her a cheek bonk.
