I’m imagining that whoever that is in those shoes in the right-hand corner is going t give me a TUMMY RUB.
Well, today our spark is this: Imagine anything and go for it!
This sweet story certainly brought joy to all of us, especially mama, whose mama used to take her brother and her out to find the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. And Texas had wonderful rainbows! Also lawns with fairy rings…
Mama still believes that she’ll catch a fairy dancing of the grass in a “fairly ring”, and frankly, I’m not sure mama should EVER visit the land of leprechauns, haha!
Still, it is a world of wonder, and this little girl will surely have adventures on her search for a unicorn.
And mama is still chasing rainbows…
I hope you got that tummy rub, Loulou.
I did, I did!
Thanks for sharing that adorable story….my Mom remembers wondering what was at rainbow’s end….and totally believed in fairies. Childhood is the time imaginations grow. We hope that the “wonder” factor in us NEVER goes away.
Hugs, Teddy
And read Mary McNeil’s story about the little girl who wrote to heaven about her cat. ADORABLE
We hope that little girl gets her unicorn!
Wouldn’t that be grand!!!
That is a sweet story. And I hope your mama never stops chasing rainbows and looking for fairies. XO
Oh, no chance of that…I heard her talking to a jay bird yesterday…
What a sweet story – what a nice thing for the “bureaucracy” to come through with !
Here’s a similar story about a little girl whose kitty had passed away.

I LOVE THIS STORY. Might I put it in a Loulou with your name as sender?
Of course. Especially at this time of year !
We would LOVE to see a unicorn….
Good for your mama! That tummy is too tempting, I’m sending tummy rubs and snorgles your way LouLou!
Oh, thank you for snorgles…LOVE that word.
Here’s hoping that you scored a tummy rub, Loulou!
Unicorn is the national animal for Scotland; those Scots!
Wouldn’t you know it! How wonderful for the Scots. They make good whiskey, too.
May you receive all the tummy rubs your heart desires, LouLou. And may your Mama never cease to chase rainbows and may you both find a unicorn AND a pot of gold AND a boxful of treats at the rainbow’s end.
OH, J-CATS…may you have the same!!! Imagination is such FUN!!!
