Mya in her new stroller! She is so, so happy because her little legs give out too soon on walks and now she has a little cart to sit in, plus I’ll bet there are LOTS of people coming up and saying, Oh, that is so, so cute, I wish my doggy had one, and things like that. Actually, mama thought maybe I would like one but I’m not sure, even if it is closed in but with a breathable mesh to look out of, because even when I’m in my traveling apartment and the doors are shut and I can still see out but am protected, I feel vulnerable when one of those big doggies comes over to sniff at me (at the vet, for example) so I think kitties have another sort of temperament than doggies, but is this the cutest thing you have ever seen. That little redhead in the stroller is MYA!!!

Well, this is what happens to your nose if you don’t tell the truth, mama says. But I don’t think my little nose would EVER look like that, plus I tell only the truth and everything shows on my muzzle so I can’t hide anything if I try to fib. Best not to fib at all. Mama is the same way…she looks SOOOO funny if she’s telling something that is embellished, shall we say. Papa and I crack up just looking at her and then she cracks up, too.
A nice way to advertise your sandwich bar, no? Caught mama’s attention!
A lady having lunch in the hot sun with a mist of water blowing from the fan in the back.
Two little putti decorating a window. Don’t JUMP, don’t JUMP!
One of millions of angels that are found all over Rome. This one in a church, holding holy water. In the same church, a Caravaggio graces a little alcove.
And the ceiling of the church, so beautifully arched in blue.
Well, that’s all I could find in mama’s stash today, and this may be getting a bit boring, all this photojournalism of Rome, but I have to admit that even from my perch on the back of the couch, looking out over a piazza, there is ALWAYS something new to catch my eye.
Hey, what’s that?
It’s that exhibitionist, Tody, again, trying to get attention.
Haha, made you look!
Is that the Madonna of Loreto, the Caravaggio (?) (tries desperately to remember her art history!) It looks as though you have wonderful weather and, well, we would ALL love a stroller here!
Yes, it is the Caravaggio, whatever that is, but mama and papa LOVE that guy. He really could play the brushes and oils!
Loulou, I think that doggie at the end of the post is winking at you – and smiling!! I think I have a crush on him and can just imagine riding side by side in the stroller for a romantic evening on the Promenade des Anglais. Well, a girl can dream………….
LOVE those beautiful shots of Rome – MAGIC. WOW.
That doggy would be head over heels over Mya. But wait til you see him in PERSON and what he DOES every day for all the world to see. Well, I never….he is SUCH an exhibitionist.
I love these photos, I never travel so I live vicariously through those that do. These were all beautiful- especially the ones of you LouLou.
Oh, I would be glad to put in photos of this beautiful city every day so you can travel without leaving home! Maybe you are fortunate. Travel nowadays is HELL. Excuse my French.
Where, where???? 🙂 Love the tours you’ve been giving, Loulou.
WHERE, WHERE WHAT? I’ll go back and see what I said.
I’m a bit vague today, but what is Where, Where referring to?
