You say THEY are calling on the phone to say hello? Hey, just for the record, Kitty Whisperer, I’m not at home…
Well, I think mama and papa and their sis in law and her partner are falling in love with a little town that, so THEY say, is pretty cute, what with all the old Roman things around and a Picasso museum with some lovely and touching photos of Mr. Picasso and his love, Jacqueline, and I guess anything sweet like that always makes an impression on mama, for sure. She is a sucker for romantic love, not to mention art by the world’s greatest painter!
Whoever he is.
It is pretty cute, I have to say.
BUT, I do remember that there was a kitty he painted in yet another museum on yet ANOTHER trip of theirs and that kitty was after my heart, since she had a rather unfortunate birdie in her mouth.
Of course, I don’t chase birdies or eat them so what do I know anyway? Maybe I’m just feeling a little…well…irritated.
But as she always does, mama found a mural on a wall with THREE kitties in it, one of whom is probably my long lost French Antibity-bibity cousin for sure.
Can you find my cuz in this painting?
So I guess there are some worthwhile things in that little burg after all.
Uh, oh, now I’m getting a little miffed!!! WHO IS THIS GUY? Does she have to have a portrait of every kitty all over the place when her attention should be only on one KITTY? Guess who?
Not a bad-lookin’ guy, actually…hmmm.
Do you think he might…er…like this little snapshot of yours truly?

Goodbye, Chuck Berry, king of music, about whom Bobby Dylan said, “He was the Shakespeare of music.” And about whom John Lennon said, “If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it ‘Chuck Berry
Thank you, Mr. Berry, for all you gave to the music world.
We saw your cousin right away, but the other two took a bit to discover. That does look like a cute little town. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
I think mama is going off the deep end. She thought there were three, too, but now she can’t find the third one! Obviously has traveller’s blindness.
We love that mural! We saw your “cousin” right away.
Yes, well, we Tuxies do get around.
My Goodness – I had never seen that Picasso painting of The Cat. And that wonderful mural – and that handsome tabby tom ! They must be having an interesting trip – but there is something to be said for sleeping every night in your own bed.
You know, mama says the very same thing. Of course, we kitties sort of sleep around…
Hey, Loulou, we see your cuz, but we count three cats in the picture. Your mama and papa are going to have a lot to apologize to you for when they get home. They will get home, won’t they? They won’t fall so in love with that town they don’t return? Oh, no!
MAMA THOUGHT THERE WERE THREE and she wanted to ask, Do you see the third one (which is practically invisible) but then she couldn’t find it herself!!! This trip must be traumatic for THEM. Losing her mind…
That is a nice mural on the wall. And you are the best work of art LouLou.
Awww, shucks. You are always so nice to me.
Lot’s of nice story pictures today! And yes, I think that mancat would love that picture of you!
Hey, thank you. A girl has to know sort of where to go with these things.
