I am putting my paw down for mama to get her planting done NOW so that there will be things to eat in summer!!!! Not that I eat tomatoes but still….and I can water them while she’s away, heh heh….
Well, mama has to plant a lot of things befoe taking off to see stepkids and stepgrandkids in Italy and she’s starting with baby radicchio from a friend who gave her seeds bought at a radicchio festival and then more tomatoes and then some flowers and lettuces and basil, etc….
SOMETHING might come up in a month, non?
Meanwhile, the regal Rasta peers through the office window and makes mama wamt to smuggle him. The housesitter will probably snuggle him a bit but NO feeding is allowed because he needs to know to eat AT HOME!
Well, that’s all we have to report this Tuesday, other than that you may never be able to vote again….
Just sayin’.
Plantin’ time…
Oh, by the way, Trump has decided that Bernie Sanders would be a better president and is ceding his seat to Mr Sanders….
APRIL FOOL’S! SORRY TO SAY!
And in France and Italy, too, you try to pin a picture of a fish or a cutout of a fish on someone’s back and hope they don’t notice and walk around with it all day today, haha. Be sure to have fun today with wild stories and tricks. Helps keep sanity in place….
Information is here in the FYI for today about how we have no research to protect us from another pandemic. Idiots, ALL.
I hope the garden produce is spectacular this year!
MERCI, Islanders, and so do we. The tomatoes last year were a bust. Too much heat.
What wonderful things will be in Mama’s garden this year……and I know she and your Papa are excited already about traveling to Italy for a family visit……with you in charge of the garden they can rest easy!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Merci, Teddy and nmama, and I shall personally see to the tomatoes this year and keep them…uh…moist as they grow.
Your mama’s garden is going to be full of delicious things when she gets back, Loulou. Yum!
Oh, cross fingers for that. Our weather is so flaky! But I will guard the seedings and make sure the mulch keeps them warm.
Here is a link, not sure if it will work….

You may need to copy/paste it into the browser. Actually those are not donuts bur eclairs…that even yummier, LOL!
Merci Meezer’s and mama has read Kristin’s blog for years and visited her when she and Jean Marc started their first winery. It’s a great blog for learning French and now her newest book is out and wonderful. Love her April Fool’s blog!
By the way, apparently those are glazed donuts, wow!!
WHAT? Donuts? What am I missing? Hello to the doggies.
April fish to you, too, ev en though its already the second…Hope the seedlings do well.
ME,TOO. Mama has finally decided to go out to the garden and just throw seeds and hope they take, haha. But someone will tomato-sit the new tomato plants.
My black thumb salutes your mama who can grow good things to eat, may she have a huge bounty from a garden that exploded with produce.
And oh, we wish you could come to dinner when they are ready!
If she plants before going to visit family, who will take care of the plants? XO
A housesitter is a pretty good plant-sitter, and mama has a watering sytem and mulches with straw over everything, very heavy mulch.
Picking Season is more fun than Planting Season!
Brian’s Home
Ha ha, ain’t that the truth and mama has broad beans about to be ready for picking….just as she leaves!
They are off on another jaunt that you can join them on -or not -without any discomfort on your part ! We were able to see the kitty video from yesterday – a handsome fellow who thankfully does have his own safe home.
So glad you met him. He really is adorable, even I am enthralled with his equanimity as he stares at mama and hopes for dinner. But she is resistant and he finally leaves after a snuggle.
