Mama and Marghe, step-grand-kid
Well, they wouldn’t let me go to the museum to see this incredible flower/vegetable (mama thinks it’s an artichoke because when it opens all the way–it opens and closes all day long—there is a thistle inside, not a lotus flower but it’s called Golden Lotus so what the heck) but I can imagine that if I were there I’d want to jump inside it and it would swallow me up for sure!
It’s a Korean art piece and so maybe it is a lotus but mama likes artichokes and sticks with that. You can see it open and close on the link in this blog.
This museum, called Maxxi, always has a wonderful outdoor exhibit of something or other. In the past there have been so many wondrous things at the entrance to the museum, but this takes the cake, I think.
Here are a few others that have been there in the past:
I think I’ll have to really behave and maybe I’ll get taken on my new-found leash walks to Maxxi!
Across the street is a cat refuge called The Garden of Kitties and I could visit them, too!
Meow, We don’t know what it is, but it’s kinda purretty. Sorry you didn’t get to go.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Lexi
I guess if the artist says it’s a lotus, it’s a lotus. But that ain’t no lotus flower inside! I don’t say ain’t but it fit the sentence.
That’s some amazing art.
Yes, the museum has incredible stuff, and kids LOVE it. Also kitties.
We went and watched the video. We think that closing artichoke would scare us. Are you sure you want to visit it?
I’ve changed my mind. I think it would eat me.
