Well, Dezi mentioned baby pics and these are the only ones mama has of me when I was still a bit confused about finding my family and was barely able to realize that I was in a HOUSE, all warm and nice with FOOD and SNUGGLES and more. I hope I don’t bore you with these photos so I’ll make it short.
Mama wanted a kitty.
Mama put out food in the garden.
I arrived. I saw food. I ate food.
I ate food for three days in the garden, but it seemed to be getting closer to a house. Hmm….
I wanted food. Food was IN HOUSE. Uh, oh.
I walked, tentatively, into said house.
I ate food.
Warm arms lifted me up gently and snuggled.
I did not know how to snuggle. Or play.
I learned!!!
WHAT IS THAT THING IN HER HANDS? She keeps pushing the button on top.
I chose the Catalan-colors collar.
Uh, oh, this was not expected!!! But now I’m not expecting either!
I got better so, so fast.
I learned where to scratch. Indestructible chairs!
Then I settled right in. No worries, mate!
And took a long, long nap.
THE END

Dezi and Raena
Me, too. I was really lucky and so were THEY!!!
Merci.
Ohhhh, Loulou, maman had tears in her eyes over this one. Such a sweet, touching saga. We think it was a win-win situation for you ALL and was simply meant to be. We in the animal kingdom (we smart ones, anyway, hehheh) know when we have a good thing and give back 200% in love and snuggles in gratitude for our good fortune.
But don’t forget to use your manipulation skills for more of that tuna in sauce…………….
Ah, the M S…Manipulation Skills! Yes, must remember those.
You were an adorable baby and you still are adorable. XO
Oh, Ellen, I love having you as a fan.
You found yourself a good home, Loulou.
I realize that and I’m happy to have made THEM happy, too.
What a beautiful story. Your wide, scared eyes in those early photos just break my heart. But seeing you so contented and comfortable, well. That makes my heart whole again.
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
I was pretty awed by it all and I was scared and I guess a Tuxie shows more of that in the eyes, all round and big as they are, now I am SOOOOO at home.
My goodness, what a sweet post ! There is currently a big male hanging around in the morning to eat with my outdoor cats . If he ever gets friendly I will TNR him. but right now he is too scaredy. (All my cats are spayed/neutered.)
Well, those male kitties don’t seem to mind if others are spayed, so I hope he is a gentle feral. But he could come ’round with TLC.
What a tale. You came, you ate, you moved in. Smart move on your part, Loulou! You couldn’t have found a better home.
Hey, I like that. Arrivo, mangio, habito! When in Rome, do as the Romans, no?
We enjoyed reading your story, Loulou ! And we’re glad you have such a wonderful forever home. Purrs
Thank you. I like my story because of the nice ending…
