Leading the life of Riley, whoever that is…
Meanwhile, mama is still snapping shots in her favorite shops and this one is heaven for cheeses, fresh pasta and all sorts of ham and sausage and fresh mozzarella. Haha, what if I have to put THEM on diets, haha?
Not likely, though, they are careful while still enjoying the riches of Rome’s markets. And of course mama loves to cook all of her Roman recipes with authentic ingredients.
And then mama has to go and ruin a perfectly good travelog!
WITH A TRAVELDOG!!
Now I want some lasagna, like Garfield!
Well, mama would gladly make you one. Her favorite is fresh artichoke lasagne.
Uhoh…..has your Mom been unfaithful to you with that DOG? Well, she probably just misses YOU and substituted a dog temporarily! Rome’s markets are indeed fabulous. Even though it was over 30 years ago that my Mom and Dad were there, they remember the lovely aromas and wonderful displays and tasty goodies in every shop. I hope your Mama and Papa bring you some samples!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, mama is so glad you had a Roma visit and 30 years ago you might have passed mama and papa in the sweet streets!
We were on our honeymoon and Rome was the first stop! Stayed in a TINY hotel….Villafranca….had a lovely two days before going on to Venice!! 🙂
Oh, honeymooning in Roma…perfetto. And then romantic Venice, what a luna di miele.
Ohhhh – I like that doggie, teehee!! The market looks soooo good – and we will go to Cours Saleya this morning to buy a plant for Huguette who we will take to lunch. Never a dull moment in Nice – like Rome!!!
Wait a minute, is Hugette a doggy? Oh, no, I remember, she’s an anthro, mabe with doggy? We can’t keep up with your social life, Mya.
Hi, Woofie! Are you a little bit shy?? LOL!
Look at ALL that Cheese! Wowsers!
Mama has known that woofie for years and years and yes, he has become shy lately. Probably because of all the tourists that pass his shop and want his pic.
That pasta looks so good. XO
Oh, it is, it is.
You Mom is sure enjoying food shopping and browsing!
And COOKING, all sorts of sauces and lovely Italian dishes.
Oh LouLou we must disagree with your headline – you can never have too much pasta — just maybe not all at once.
Well, actually, we agree with that, too. It is our favorite food ANYWHERE Nummy noodles all the time…
Yummy….pasta!
And the ravioli with butter and toasted sage…drool.
