A BIG sun puddle!
Well, mama seems to have some arthrose in her shoulder but we won’t see our doc until tomorrow.
So I’ll just enjoy this amazing spate (whatever that is) of sun and sun puddles, and so many flowers on the famous hibiscus that we have lost count!
He is now officially “Bisky” and we converse with him daily in his leafy language.
Mama had no idea how many things one has to know about care and feeding of hibiscus, but sometimes I think it’s better not to ask, haha.
Still, it’s good to know that they need water often during hot weather, light fertilizer at intervals, and that they are not eternal, as some roses (and some anthros, thank heaven) seem to be, going on and on for years.
But we won’t know until he has lived here awhile. I have bonded with him and snooze each sunny day under his amazing flowers.
For years, mama has gardened but never really paid attention to hibiscus and now he is king of the roost…er…garden…er…patio.
And every morning, I amble out and say, “Hi, Bisky!”
Haha, he always laughs by opening another bloom!
MOL..Bisky likes you, LouLou. They always come when you smile a lot😸😸Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday and some Healing Pawkisses for your mom. Hope the shoulder feels better soon🙏🐾😽💞
Well, Bisky has popped FOUR blossoms today! A good friend…
Bisky is looking pretty green and flowery
Bisky ROCKS! Especially today!
That is not just a sun puddle, Loulou…it’s a sun ocean! It’s huge!
Yes, it was rather large that day! I took a swim!
Ouch on your Mama’s shoulder – hope the doc has an idea how to make it better for her. “Bisky” is beautiful…my Mom grows one every year in a big pot on the porch. They don’t “winter over” here in our area sadly nor do they thrive inside but Mom LOVES the flowers. Keep the cuddles coming for your Mom – when our Moms aren’t happy, WE aren’t totally happy either!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, another Bisky lover. Well, they do well here because of the mild climate, but we do have a freeze every now and then. Who knows what the weather will be this year? Only a crystal ball. And thank you for your caring comment.
I’m sorry to hear that your mama may have arthrose in her shoulder, Loulou. You’re going to have to be extra cuddly with her today. Bisky looks very pretty – what a great name.
Maybe now she’ll let me sleep on her head…er…shoulder.
Good luck with the shoulder!!!!! Mama has all kinds of flowers looking out the window – but she doesn’t have a clue! All she has planted in the window boxes are cactus – since they need little care; Except for the little olive tree!! No olives yet and she has had it for 3 years!!
Papa loves cactus and we have to get ours back in shape. Even they can keel over…haha
Just don’t get too chummy with Bisky – they are not good for cats to chew on.

Looks like you can have a beautiful friendship with some social distancing.
Thank you, Mary, we shall watch her carefully but since we have had the plant, she has not had the slightest interest in the plant or blossoms, only its shade. And it is up off the ground and hard for her to reach, should she wish. Will be attentive to all.
Your garden are looks very pretty Loulou. I sure hope your Mom gets some shoulder relief soon.
Well, she sees the doc tomorrow and we will know more, thank you.
