Here I am with nana, silver vine and some dumb critter whose name I do not know, but at least I am stretching in my old manner to seduce mama to give me kibble….
Well, THEY went up on a terrace to see the poppers and boy, was that a LONG show. I think our mayor wanted to outdo all the other years of mid-August fireworks and so he had them just pop them off randomly but in HUGE numbers.
There were certainly a lot! But years ago, an Italian team did the yearly show and it was spectacular because they used the noise with rhythm and the fireworks were really beautiful and memorable, and we don’t know where they, the Italians, have gone, but they were the masters.
I stayed home, in a sealed house, so no problem for my tiny ears! Still, I would have liked to see the ACTION!
I think…
Pretty fireworks. Glad you got to stay home and didn’t have to hear all the booms, Loulou.
Merci, I was glad to be OUT of the booming and even mama covered her ears the whole time.
WOW! I bet that was a whole lot of noise but how wonderful that the celebration took place since it had been a while. I hope you’re enjoying your company too!!!
Hugs, Teddy
Yes, the grandchild is here, 23, and absolutely darling but I haven’t met her yet as I was snoozing when she was in our garden. I’ll see her tomorrow night shen I insist on eating my dinner outdoors, haha.
I didn’t see the fireworks here – BUT YOURS were beautiful!
I didn’t think about it – they were saying fire would start! But I don’t think so!
Well, they were over water so very safe.
I would prefer to be inside with you than watching fireworks. 🙂 XO
You would have been welcome, Ms Ellen! Quiet evening for me.
Staying home with the boomers going on was a good idea Loulou!
I was out like a light and mama came home with her hands still over her ears
We’re glad you were comfortable throughot the fireworks LouLou – and appaently all that was done safely in your part of the world.
All over water and no fall out anywhere but the drone idea is still best, I think.
Glad your ears were not assaulted, LouLou!
Fireworks are pretty, but yup, like Eastside Cats said, the drone show would be ‘magnifique’!
Yes, yes, drones are the sparks of the future, we hope. That drone video was amazing!
Loulou, wouldn’t it be nicer to have a drone display, with maybe some music, rather than war-like fireworks?
Plus there would be no pollution, nor pets or humans scared by booms!
MUCH better. Maybe they will think of that in France next year. It would be fantastic. Maybe mama will send that video of the drone show to our MAYOR.
