(I really look involved in all this Brexit stuff, right?)

Well, being a French kitty with Italian and American ties like a maypole, I really don’t know enough about the UK to form any ideas about what just happened.  But I do know that fear played a good part in the Brexit decision, and a bit of racism, no?

Still, we shall see how the UK fares without the perks from the EU and the involvement in world affairs that comes from being part of the EU and yes, other countries might follow and revert back to their own currencies, and yes, Europe will be back to square one as far as cohesion is concerned and the euro will suffer, no question of that, but what mama seems to think is that when Europe looks shaky about its future and the path is not clear, due to the Brexit decision, guess who is waiting in the wings to see just where the weak spots might be and how he might benefit from this upheaval in the future?

Here’s a hint:  He takes countries whenever he wants one, is much shorter than, say, Obama, and drinks vodka.  Whoever guesses will get a bath from me, should we ever meet.

PS: I am safely installed in my Roman digs, under the bed on mama’s baby blanket.  NO seasickness. NO trauma. But if I had the choice, I’d have to say that staying in ONE place really works best for me.  Maybe if I had found them when I was really little, I could have gotten use to all that car and boat stuff, but alas, I was a few months old and wanted stability.  That said, I don’t have to budge for at least 6 weeks!!! YAY.
