Hey, they DID get to Hampstead Heath…

Boy, are these guys going to tell me some adventures or do I have to wait until BOTH of them get over sore throats and can talk again? Sure, sure a city is filled with bugs and it’s also filled with people and when people get bugs and manage to cough and sneeze all over everyone, then others get bugs. And so they did. They are also susceptible, in a way, because they don’t live in a big city and take buses and metros and come into a lot of contact with crowds.

Maybe it’s healthier to live in a crowed city and get immunities! I know, mama says she sounds way too politically correct about this pet peeve of hers, but really, folks, even I, a lowly kitty, do NOT like having an anthro SNEEZE right in my muzzle or COUGH all over my just-brushed pelt. No way! And poverini anthros, alas, suffer even more when in the line of fire of a nice juicy sneeze or cough. Hasn’t anyone read about how viruses spread? Hey, a 5-year-old school kid knows more about health now than grown-up anthros who ought to know better. Well, anyway. Mama says she wants to be like everyone else—just sneeze all over the place and cough out into the air and not think about how it might make someone else sick, but she can’t change. Probably because when mama gets a cold, she really GETS it, whereas others I know just belt down a nice stiff hot whiskey and ride it out but it’s usually a short cold. Mama’s are LOOOOOONNG. But this time, she’s going to tough it out, too, and rest and not do exercise class and not try to solve the world’s problems all day long or garden too much or run about like a crazed weasel trying to do a normal life when her body is trying to get rid of all the baddies and get well.

I’m going to help, too, because I’m right there with the catnip tea and I know (from personal daily experience) that that will make her and papa forget ALL of their troubles really quick…It sure works on me! image

You just get right down into it and BREATHE…..
