Well, mama is in here helping me get this blog out and in a few hours the sun will be gone and the MOON WILL BE FULL!!! HORREUR!
You MUST get your beans in before the full moon sends all its powers down to your garden and admonishes the planter (hey, mama, not me!) for not planting while Mr Moon started to wax.
Wait a minute, why does the moon wax? Is it going to polish up mama’s plants so that they shine like a parquet floor?
Arggggh, these questions are too much for me to ponder while I’m TRYING to get mama out in the garden with her gloves and spade and seeds to make bean holes!
Hey, more on this later, after the full Mr Moon tonight lets us know what he has in mind…he’s a cagey fellow, that man.
OMC, our patio furniture just blew off the patio!!! I had better get out there to save it from taking off into the neighbor’s yard! Winds from Africa just blew in….it’s wild around here. And these nice beans from last year are what we are shooting for this year!
A bientot! Until tomorrow…
AND DON’T FORGET TO BLOG FOR PEACE (THANK YOU, ANN ADAMUS) ON NOVEMBER 4:
We didn’t know that about Mr. Moon affecting the garden. We hope you don’t blow away, Loulou.
Oh, yes, plant above ground veggies as the moon becomes full and below ground veggies as the moon wanes. I think….
Yikes! We know nothing about beans except mama and papa ordered last night at a new restaurant (new to them, anyway) seared scallops with little beans seasoned with algue (Japanese staff) YUMMM!!!!! I did something I never did before in a restaurant – barked at a family who came in with their beagle. Mama had to hold my mouth closed for a while. Maybe it was that full moon that made me do it – is that where the word Lunatic comes from!? Did you do anything weird?
Well, if the things I do daily are weird, yes, I was weird all day, haha. Actually, I meowed a lot, more than usual, but mama DID get her beans buried.
Our beans are long gone by.
Well, these are planted in Oct for next spring and planting now gives them bigger pods and results and they are tender and sweet. Last year we had a bean almost over a foot long.
LouLou, be careful that YOU don;t get blown away if the winds are that strong !
Hey it’ll be an ill wind that blows me away!
