Shed, shed, shed those blues away,
shed, shed shed until you’ve gone from z to a
tell St. Peter at the Golden Gate, that you hate to make him wait
you’ve just gotta shed, shed on the couch today…la la la…
🎼🎶🎵
Well, with all this talk of shedding and kitty hair on black clothes (or navy blue or dark anythings whatever they are) I have decided to hold my fur IN and not let ANYONE have a hair on my head!
I’ll bet you didn’t know that we kitties could DO that, right?
I think a shrink (whatever that is) might have a certain view of this, as in being AC or retentive or expressing a wish to go back to being a naked little baby with no fur at all, but the real truth is that I like my fur and my hairs are precious to me.
Papa says the same thing about his hairs, haha.
SO…saving mama the trouble of vacuuming the couches and bed covers and chairs and guests and so on, I am proud to be the first kitty who simply willed herself with mindfulness and meditation not to shed.
Or…they could get one of THESE…
So, mama, what’s it gonna be, take your choice! I may change ny mind…
Oh LouLou, we’re sure your mommy thinks her clothes look furtabulous with your furs on them. She wouldn’t trade you in fur nothin’. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Never would she trade me for ANYTHING, not even chocolate!!!
Um Loulou…we don’t think you can will yourself not to shed.
Uh…you might be right about that, but it made a good blog….
Cat furs are meant to be a housewarming gift all year long!
YES, YES, my fur is very warm.
I think half the beauty of kitties is their fur, Loulou.
Well, me, too, of course and mama actually LOVES to brush me and feel my silky fur so I don’t know what she is complaining about!
Teehee – Loulou – you can get the same look as that hairless kitty by going to Animal Paradise!!! That’s what I call Animal Hell – but they keep taking me there even as I try to run past it. But they’re so nice when I get inside, I calm down. That’s where they give me a bath and a trim. I’ll let you have one of my sweaters!! Mama got me two at Ikea in Italy and I haven’t worn them yet – but this week? COOOOLD, so sweater weather! Mama said her cat Sassy used to shed – and she used lint rollers to pick up the hair. An idea…..
Well, mama has a special brush but she starts to brush with one side sometimes and all the hair on that side comes off again, haha, because the two sides are opposite so that if you go the wrong way, all your work goes back on the cloth. OY…Packing tape works well, too.
I wish my kitties knew how to hold onto their furs 🙂
I’ll give lessons. Meditation really helps because you don’t move a hair, haha.
Well, LouLou, some of those nearly hairless kitties have sort of oily skin and require bathing – or antimacassars on all the furniture. Just sayin’…
