Well, among the many things I started learning at my new home, watching Simon’s Cat and the antics of his marvelous kitty(s) was one of the best. I had never seen an iPad and now I’m like all of those anthros who stay glued to their TVs and IPads and IPhones and can’t seem to find time to do Life, haha.
I LOVE watching mama’s iPad birds videos, too. But one can get addicted, I feel that strongly. Better to watch birdies on a bird feeder or tree than be a slave to technology, whatever that means. Mama’s sis in law had to raise their hummingbird feeder because they would wake up in the morning to three visiting kitties eyeing the feeder…hmmmm, haha!
We have no hummers in France, does anyone know why? Mama’s mama in Houston used to love observing them as she had breakfast in front of the feeder outside…so many colors on their little throats, so beautiful and so tame, those little devils. Mama says they will come right up to you and stare, and mama’s sis in law’s partner once made a friend of a hummer and it lit on his dictionary right where “hummingbird” was defined! Amazing. I will try to find the photo, so sweet.
So, without movies out my window (yet), I have become an addict watching Simon’s Cat!
How easily we slip into the effects of cyberspace!
But there are alternatives.
I really must get to my practice session…
Me and my humans luv Simon’s Cat. We watch it whenever we get the chance. Mom says I do some things that remind her of the cartoon kitty. Do you do things like the cartoon kitty, too? Hugs and winks.
Oh, do I ever, but I don’t rip curtains…
Simon’s Cat is so entertaining, but not as entertaining as you, Loulou.
Well, Simon is a great cat-toonist, and we love watching those funny kitties,
Yes, Loulou – but I can’t seem to get into it because it doesn’t smell right! Maybe my nose is more developed than my eyes? Mama’s going to find me some visuals though and see if it can work. Have you tried the iPad after NIP? That could be interesting!
You mean the IPad doesn’t sniff right? Okay, I get it. But I rub my jaw on nama’s while she’s trying to read, heh, heh.
I like SImon’s Cat too 🙂 And I did not know have no hummingbirds in France, how sad. My cats like watching videos from you tube, just type videos for cats in the search and there are a lot of them. XO
THANK YOU. More TV for me!!! Mama is going to limit my TV watching I think.
Oooh, hummingbirds. They are so pretty.
Wish we had them in France.
I know there are hummies in Arizona,(my aunt once counted 30+ at her feeders) so I have no idea why they wouldn’t be in Texas. Too small, maybe ? I have been sitting out in the yard when they come right up and hover in front of my face. Curious, or reminding me to refill the feeders ?
No, no, we have them in TEXAS, just not in FRANCE. We only have little funny bees that look like tiny birds.
iPads are fun! We’ve don’t have any hummers at our place either.
Oh, maybe they all went to Sonoma to my sis in law’s bird feeder, haha.
Loulou, our mama wont let us watch the bird videos on the big telly because we scratch the screen, we get so excited. We have a feeder that the woodpeckers come to. We know when they are here with their rat a tat noise! But we can only see them out the window! Darn!
Misty and Tabby
Oh, Misty and Tabby, sorry about that but at least you have woodpeckers! They are fascinating.
