Thank you for continuing to read us, at least for possibly picking out the good parts to peruse, haha.
Mama simply cannot stand by and read, watch, see what is changing out country for the worse. But I have urged her to stick with thanks.
Thanks for the birdes who woke mama up at 6:30 this morning with lovely spring (!) cheeping! Is this normal? Don’t they ususally begin around March instead of in the middle of February? Well, no matter, they were so happy-sounding and brightened our day.
(This video is not our birdies but they sounded very like these!)
I was cloud-snoozing and so didn’t really hear the symphony but I’m sure there will be more now that the orchestra leader has chirped! Mama is going to try to record this chorale tomorrow morn.

And we ae thankful that you continue to read and share our thoughts, even as we make attempts to speak out against what is undermining demococry and your rights as a citizen of the USA.
This distressing list is long, but in it you will find elected officials who have no experience in running their departments, no knowledge of how to keep our country safe, no respect for and withdrawal from the World Health Organization, which strives to end smallpox and other diseases, no respect for NATO, which keeps so many countries safe, inexperienced kids with access to classified information and YOUR US Treasury, and too many more dangerous choices of “leaders” to mention.
As always, you can read the links or not. We are fine with that.
But together we stand, united we stand and just might have a chance to strengthen our numbers against a madman who thinks he is king and that we are his willing subjects…
Mama says he has another think coming.
Regardless of your political beliefs, this is decent human being speaking out for YOU.
According to old legend, the bird’s mating season (and thus singing to attract mates) begins on February 14, in honor of St. Valentine.
I love it when we start hearing all our local birdies singing all their sweet songs, esp the cardinals. At night we hear the owls, even in winter…though I have not had the luxury if seeing them…Soon we’ll also start hearing the woodpeckers drilling!
OH, we LOVE hooters and woodpeckers!!! How wonderful to have those musicians in your part of the world.
