Pour a little more, okay?
Mama will never have to drink alone again.
Not that she ever does! Not with papa around to clink glasses and gaze into her eyes and she into his.
Mama’s sister-in-law sent this to her today (WHERE does she find these things?) and she is tickled pink (or rather, black and white, like ME!). I’m wondering if she is going to order this vino for lil’ ole’ Loulou any time soon. Check this out:
“Now you can drink with your cat. At least in Japan you can, because a Japanese company called B&H Lifes has begun selling wine made specifically for cats.
This special feline libation is called “Nyan Nyan Nouveau.” As Kotaku reports, “nyan nyan” is the Japanese equivalent of “meow meow.” (Oh hey, remember Nyan Cat?) This cat wine doesn’t really contain any alcohol, but it does contain juice made from Cabernet grapes, along with catnip. So just accept it. It’s wine. For cats.
Nyan Nyan Nouveau costs 399 yen (or $4) for a bottle, and the company is only producing a thousand of them, so you should probably act fast.”
If it has to come from Japan, it’s gonna take some time!!! And my glass is EMPTY right now!
Plus I’ve already put out the cheese board…
Durrrr @ my ape!

Sorry about that

Oh, I am so happy. Maybe they’ll get some for me instead of for that mouse they found last week (uncaught!!). Little mouse tracks were found in the pantry for the first time since I’ve been here…falling down on the job maybe, but papa got one of those havaheart traps and that little sucker DISAPPEARED. Probably off to new cheese…
How weird? Our first comment is back up there now!
There’s no accountin’ for WordPress……..I can’t figure it out either. I just write, post, pray.
I hope that you ordered a case of that wine Loulou, winter is almost here and those evenings are long.
I am learning to like a little bit of cheese. Oh that we could spend an evening or two sipping Nip wine and nibbling on some finest real Cheddar.
I don’t live too far from the place called Cheddar where that cheese originates and is still made by artisan types. Sometimes I make The Apes go there and bring me back some of the finest!

Oh, Mungo, I would LOVE some REAL cheddar. Mama and papa visited Caerphilly once and went bonkers over that cheese—rarebit, with eggs, on toast, plain, on cracker, on bread, what a cheese.
And papa LOVES the Stilton from Cropwell Bishop (I think that’s it—what is the best? Mama wants to know for XMAS!)
This is what you need Loulou

Yum!
A good, crumbly Lancashire or Caerphilly is good at Christmas too. But I’m sure your Mum knows this, all cheese is better when it’s been sitting out of the fridge for a few hours before eating*
