I can’t bear this…
Well, I’ve probably used this title before but what the heck.
Mama is driving us all nuts making chicken curry and naan, the Indian breads that go with it, and guess who CANNOT HAVE CURRY, NO WAY, NOHOW!!!
One guess. Okay, that’s it. You’re right. And I’m rebelling, you can bet your paws.
This house smells like Delhi. Well, maybe a restaurant in Delhi, wherever that is, and if mama did not put aside a little tidbit of that @%$!! chicken, well, I don’t even want to go there.
You can bet there will be some havoc created around here soon and mama will say, “Loulou, we’ll have naan of that!”
And I’ll say, “Mama, if you haven’t saved a bit of chickie for me, YOU’LL BE SARI!”
You’re making us hungry, Loulou!
Well, that’s the general idea. A constant state of kitties, no?
We can almost smell that deliciousness at our house. Hope you got Chicken!
I DID get a TINY bit of chicken (well, maybe bigger than that…).
Loving the puns, Loulou. Your mama’s curry looks just as good as anything I’ve tasted in Delhi, and that’s saying something.
Wow, you have been there? How wonderful. Thank you for the reassurance, haha.
Oh my. All those wonderful aromas and no tidbits to taste!? But you could have a pinch of naan, non? teehee -I’m going to use that line on mama when they go for Indian take out and don’t give me any except some rice! You’ll be sari – haven’t figured out what I’ll do but it will be baaaad!
Oh, you’ll think of something, I AM SURE!
Just remember Loulou – Delhi and deli are not the same thing ! (We don’t travel much, so we don’t know much about delis in Delhi.)
Oh, Mary, you have deli-cious humor!
