I don’t see any yet!
Well, mama and I loved reading about these little light-up-your-life buggies.
Anything that can make anthros smile and be happier is okay with us kitties.
Mama says that when she was little, she and her friends used to catch these little critters in a jar and poke holes in the lid to give them air, and then keep them by their beds to have light durng the night.
But I’m not sure that’s a good idea, as as they seem fragile and might not survive. I just wish we had them around here. Boy, would being in the garden at night be FUN!
I still don’t see any…
Uh…duh, Loulou…It’s morning. What am I thinking?
I like to watch the fireflies too, Loulou. Though I’ve never seen one up close. ~Ernie
Just found this message. We love them too but none are here.
I’ve never seen the glow-in-the-darks out here in my garden, LouLou. Could you send some my way…please😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
Aw, Little Binky, we don’t have any to send. Sigh…maybe we should travel to the south USA…
My Mom and her brother would catch fireflies and put them in a jar with holes in the top too Loulou but their Mom made a rule that before the night was over and they went inside to go to bed, they had to release all the fireflies they had caught. The “winner” was whoever had caught the most!
Hugs, Teddy
Well, that’s a lot better than sleeping with them in a jar and letting them…expire. Mama is pretty sure he mama would have made her let them out, too.
I’ve always been intrigued by fireflies, Loulou. They’re so magical.
We, too, feel the same. Very other-worldly, and so enchanting.
Mamma says she hasn’t seen them since she was a child in the country (a LONG time ago) Do you have them there? She can’t wait – and neither can I – !!!!
No we don’t have any. The article was written about the fireflies in the south of the USA.
We don’t have them here, but I’d sure like to see them. You can’t see them when it’s light out though.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday, LouLou. ♥
We don’t have any where we live but mama sure remembers them when she was a kid and they were very magical.
We have always enjoyed the Lightning Bugs…seems like there were fewer of them this year. Maybe the alternating downpours and super-hot days.

We think these might be around in your part of the world.
Well, that was a great coss section of lighter-uppers but we have none around here, alas. Wish we had those little twinklers in our summer evenings…
Enjoy the fireflies LouLou! We got them last Spring and they came back again this year, I just love watching them light up.
Well, you are so lucky to have them. And we miss shooting stars, too. Mama’s stepkids were in Sicily this summer with the skies full of shooting stars and maybe a comet, whatever that is.
Those little bugs are so amazing, our Dad used to do that same thing when he was a wee one. Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
OH, we are SO HAPPY FOR YOUR VET REPORT!!!! And we love the Hop. Makes our day.
