Mama and papa are really upset about the earthquake in Italy. So many dead and more buried and the little towns around the epicentre, devastated.
All of the family are fine, however, and were not near the disaster even though not terribly far away. Very nervous-making to have everything shake in the middle of the night.
No blog today, only prayers for the people of Amatrice and surrounding towns and hamlets and hope that there will be no more aftershocks.
The quake was felt even in Rome and mama is trying to find out if all is well there, but I think it is. The land is very seismic under much of Italy and this was like the quake in 2009 in L’Aquila.
I hope so much all will get better.
Dear Little One,
Thank you for your sweet thoughts and prayers for Amatrice and surrounds, I have been to the area and loved every second I was there. I, too, will say prayers for all.
Bless you.
Love,
Sandra
It is too horrendous to imagine. Our beautiful Italy…
I am glad your family is safe. My thought and prayers are with those that are not.
I never noticed your little white spot on your back-very cute 🙂
A sacral-cranial visitor told me it was from an injury!!! I have not been injured…strange. It seems to just be there naturally and the one on the back of my head, too, is white.
Uh-oh, we don’t know who JA is in the previous comment. It was supposed to say Jan’s Funny Farm, but sometimes the paws slip a bit. 🙂
Hey, we always know who JA is. She’s famous!
We heard about the quake on the radio this morning and we thought of you. It was mentioned about it being felt in Rome. It wasn’t very long ago your friend didn’t walk her dog one evening and averted a possible disaster. We are glad your family is safe today. Prayer for all affected.
Yes, Rome shook and shook but a friend has called us to say all is well. Just not well at all in other parts of Italy. So, so sad.
We’re purring for all those affected by this deadly quake.
They can certainly use purrs.
That’s awful ! We’re glad your family is fine. Purrs
Thank you. But our hearts are broken by this.
