Well, you may not be interested in this, but mama has prism vision, which sound kinda nesat, but which means seeing double, which means if she watches the Roma soccer team matches, she sees 44 players on the field, instead of 22, which means 88 gorgeous legs, HAHA.
Not funny, I know, but if you have double vision (weak eye muscle–comes sometimes with…er…less youth, but don’t tell her I said that), you really do NOT wish to see two of everyone at a distance, even, say, Leo the kitty (what a hunk!) or Ryan Gosling (no, not related to Goosy Gander) or even that bad Tody-doggy, who is pretty cute I have to say.
SO mama went, I should say, since she is still in Italy, mamma (2 ms) went to the oculist on her street who is really good and they gave her new glasses with a new prescription and now instead of seeing double, mama sees only half of everything! Just kidding, all is well and everything is very sharp and clear, she says, and it’s about time, because I was feeling that when she looked at me, I had a rival. HAHA.
Full of hahas today. Ech.
THEY are rounding up things–errands for eyeglasses, alterations on something papa is wearing to his daughter’s FIFTIETH later in July…little things like that. Mama also comes back with the most delicious round little things that you dip in vino (not me, of course, but they are good without it).
I, of course, dip mine in the bird bath, as usual.
Remember, the party’s tomorrow, on Sunday!
Off to straighten up the house so we can house our BLAST before THEY arrive.
Everyone is invited to my Summer Samba–I’ll make a tuna casserole, get out a variety of kibbles, maybe some of those goldfish crackers and cheese. You will NOT go hungry. Now the problem is to get my Kitty Whisperer to leave the premises before you all arrive…hmmm…a quandary, whatever that is.
And my friend, the star nosed mole, is invited, too, but I’m not sure he parties that much.
A demain! See you tomorrow, with bells on. On second thought, don’t make too much noise when you get here. No bells.
If you want, you can bring your jammies and sleep off the nip here. But you HAVE to leave before Tuesday!!!

A grand merci to new subscribers. I hope to live up to your expectations (whatever that means). Just hope you have fun here! And don’t miss the party on Sunday!
Lordy, Loulou – I think you’ve got the nose mixed up with another part at the opposite end!! Oh no, but I see his head behind it now – maybe he got it caught in the weedeater!! Mother Nature – like the rest of us girls has to have fun and be creative I guess. hoping Mama gets her eyeglasses straightened out – MY mama knows a place that sells great glasses – next to Davide the Magician. Huh? Mama says your mama will know who she’s talking about. OK – we just got in from Provence where I got to play with my other cousine Mignon – gotta unpack!!
Oh, mama in in glasses up to her…well…eyes, not ears. All work beautifully! But thank you for the tip next to Davde the Magician. Wait til you hear what mama did with HER hair at NOI.
Loulou, you’ve become one of the top favorite Internet cat celebrities of mine! Too bad about Maman now only seeing one of you because two of you would be the best of all worlds! I’ve shared this blog with my sister in Seattle because she has a sweet tuxedo kitty (Molly) who poses a lot like you, only she has lovely long hair with a curly texture.
Well, mama went to your wonderful site from your comment and it said, This page cannot be displayed. THANK you for your kind words. I love the name Molly and would like to be friends with her. Will check out your webpage from another internet source.
Oh boy,a sleep over!
Sounds like a super fun party.
Noodle and crew
Oh, the party is tomorrow. You’re cutting it kind of fine. Are you sure you can get the house cleaned up and neat in time for their return? We’ll be glad to pitch in and watch. Er, we’ll be glad to pitch in and help.
I hear that hesitation in your voices….hey, you guys are guests! You can just loll around and play with a few balls I got for Marcus to destroy.
Hope Mama sees her way clearly to come home !
Well, when she gets wind of this bash, it may not happen, haha.
