My friend, Ellie, with her 4th of July flags, and getting ready for the juicy barbeque, no doubt!
I hope I can find my way OUT of here in time for our barbeque party!
HEY, is Loulou coming or what? She’s WHERE?
Ellie, I’m still trying to figure out which end is up. Besides mine, that is. Plus, I am sort of far away from where you live.
Ellie: I don’t think she will make it. Boo hoo.
Well, Ellie, I guess I’ll have to eat the barbeque alone. Sorry! But thank you for waiting for me because it really would have been fun to flag-wave with you. I wish we were closer. Give your mama and all the family big hugs.
Happy Independence Day anyway. You and I are pretty independent already but we have to say it to the others.
Remember to head for under the bed when the fireworks start!

Another Haiku attempt. But who’s that other kitty jumping over ME?
And speaking of jumping. France won over Iceland in the European Cup but everyone felt sort of sorry for a valiant and very, very good team from a tiny country. Great players and great spirit. France is France, of course, and very good, with Payet and Griezman as stars, but here is what Loulou would have done if Iceland had won. Her friend, Mya, sent this. I’m not sure I’m up to the energy of Labradors…
Happy 4th to you and your Mama!
Thank you. And to you, too.
Ellie is quite patriotic! Happy 4th of July!
She also drives a lawn mower! Smart doggy.
Ellie was a great flag waver, Loulou. Too bad you couldn’t join her. Have a happy 4th!
Well, mama and papa decided on fish instead of barbeque but they forgot to bring some home from the trattoria! Still, I had my tuna.
Happy Independence Day ! Purrs
Thank you. Not too many fireworks in Switzerland, no?
A BBQ LouLou? We would luv a BBQ. Maybe you can get in da tunnel of yours and transport over here and we can go find a BBQ to eat at. Be safe and have a pawsum day.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Hey, the only reason I went in that tunnel is because mama put some kibbles in it to tempt me to PLAY.
Wow that looks so much fun,Happy 4th July ,xx Speedy
Yeah, well, I’m sorry I couldn’t get to Arkansas, but Ellie waved my flags for me!
