YAY, YAY, let’s hear it for FRIDA, the WONDER DOG OF MEXICO!!!
(Thank you, Mya’s mama, for bringing this to my attention.)
Frida is going to make “going to the dogs” a very positive statement!!! Would that there were doggies everywhere like her. Brava, Frida.
Read her story and send hugs to this very brave and extraordinary doggy. I would sure want her on MY pesos!!!
I wonder if kitties could do the same work? Not sure about that…we don’t put on shoes easily.
Once again, thank you so much for putting my blog on your site. You really don’t have to do that but it’s awfully nice of you.
Cheers for Frida! She deserves a Great Paw award (I just made that up)! Mew Mew!
Yes, the Great Paw award! Brava, Frida, and what paws you have to be able to wear shoes!
We heard about Frida on the news. She is PAWSOME!
Oh, so glad you know her and what she does!
Don’t worry, kitties have important jobs too: keeping the area rodent free so humans don’t get sick! Every pet has his/her own job that the other pets can’t do!
Thanks for letting us know about Frida, Loulou! It’s such a cool thing Frida is doing; what a remarkable dog!
Yes, and she is still working every day to find people under the rubble. Amazing. Mya’s mama sent me the article so thanks, Mya’s mama.
What an amazing girl ! She did a great job ! Purrs
And such a sweet doggy, I’m sure. So patient.
Yes, Loulou, even I, who have a fear of big dogs, would love to say BRAVA Frida – and lick her nose!! She gives us doggies a good name. Well, even i could find survivors if they had food in their pockets!! But not so sure about dem shoes either!!! And yes, Frida IS fantastic and many probably are alive thanks to her stamina, talent (and oui, the anthros who trained her get credit too)!!
Ahh, yes, the trainers!!! Brilliant.
those search and rescue dogs are hard working and amazing. Good for Friday! Her picture has been all over the news and we love seeing those goggles and booties.
I know, aren’t they something? Maybe get some for Marcus and send him next door to park your neighbors under some appropriate rubble, haha. I shouldn’t joke about that, but …
Brava, Frida !
LouLou- I’m sure there are kitties who can do similar things. I know many of them are used as therapy animals and have helped people suffering from PTSD.
Well, this kitty certainly helps a couple of anthros around here who get stressed out occasionally….
Frida sounds really awesome. I’m actually so amazed at what animals are capable of doing!
Yes, she rescued so many and is still working on that terribe collapsed area.
