Me, thinkin’
Well, I’ve been thinkin’.
Mama and papa are not exactly spring chickens (drool) but they seem to have met some really rice people at this ancient age (okay, okay, mid-life age) and it’s always a surprise to find new, dear friends just when you thought you might not have any more for a while.
Just after the incarceration…er…lovely vacation with old friends at the villa, another friend arrived who had been mama’s cooking student; a lovely lady who writes and sings music for children and performs in the Bay Area all the time. What a surprise for everyone! Maybe there are more new friends on the horizon, whatever that is.
Mama put on her cd and laughed all morning. In fact mama went around the house clucking and mooing and squeaking like a mouse, which threw me off completely as I tried to find that little sucker for hours.
So now there are two new friends in our acquaintance roster and what’s more they fell in love with Rome and will probably come back and see us and what’s more, they fell in love with ME!
Scratch that. They only admired my feet.
Er…paws.
Well, if they admire you…or even your paws…they must be okay!
I have these rabbit-like paws so if someone likes them, I’m tickled.

Ah, shucks, you two are just flattering me…but thanks.
I am sure they admired every bit of you- how could they not?
Well, let’s hope so. I can’t take away any parts!
Well, I hope so because I can’t remove any parts!
There are always new friends on the horizon if the blinds are open so you can see them. But don’t worry, if they love your feet… er, paws, they’ll fall in love with the rest of you too.
I sort of take after mama with the feet thing…she’s pretty short but in the feet area, well, let’s just say they are weirder than she’d like.
