(Hee-haw, hee-haw…I’m practicing.)
Well, they are not exactly eating a mixed fruit salad, because donkeys cannot eat oranges, but pears and kiwis and apples yes, as is clear in this photo of Pompinette after having munched 7 carrots and 2 apples in about two minutes.
Not that mama makes fruit salad with carrots, but for Pompinette and the donks, she DOES. I hope they don’t get indigestion, whatever that is. But they seem to be able to eat ANYTHING! And they never even peel their fruit, haha.
Every morning and evening now those donkeys hee-haw and snuffle and talk to each other and mama says she loves how they help make the morning begin with their “songs”.
Well, they’re not songs to me!
In fact, anything not meat, they’ll eat! Unlike some kitties I know.
Mama’s stepdaughter’s kitty ate leftover pasta with great glee. I mean, she was happy eating it, she didn’t put glee ON it.
Mama, you’re not going to abandon me for those adorable donks who eat weird stuff, are you?
Maybe I could learn how to bray…
They look so sweet.
Have a wonderful Sunday…
Noodle nd crew
It’s their little noses that mama loves!
Those donkeys are cute, but we don’t think your mom will abandon you for them, Loulou ! Purrs
They eat way more than I do, that’s for sure! Sort of like 5 Great Danes but hungrier.
We actually do like donkeys, but because of the noise, we treat them like other peoples dogs, nice for a visit but we are glad when they go home 😉 MOL
Lulu, you really don’t want to be a donkey, for starters they have to give small humans rides on the beach and have to put up with lots of jokes about their ears!

Hey, there are some who joke about MY ears, too, haha. Rides on the beach? I could take mice on my back, heh, heh.
Nice pictures – I love donkeys! You are looking fine today LouLou – Happy Sunday!
Well, thank you. Just for that, I’m coming to visit.
We’d better start practicing our braying, Loulou – they ARE pretty cute. Well, another cold walk for me today – but I will have an Anne pushing my poussette instead of an ane pulling it (in the style of Queen Victoria) along the Promenade. But naaah – I don’t think we’re in danger of losing our pampered princess status. They’re a bit too large for snuggling – thank goodness!!!
Were you talking about your PAPA???? You baaaad kitty.
No, LOL – about mama and how her name is Anne and word for donkey is ane. Sound similar and sometimes they even act similar, teehee!!
I thought you were calling your papa a no-no!!!
They are so cute. They remind me of Marg’s on the blog Marg’s animals. Every Saturday she shows us Smoke and Joe.
Oh, I remember Smoke and Joe and must visit her blog soon. It’s so hard to visit so many good blogs!
Video! We want to see video when you learn to bray!
Well, I’m practising really hard to become an as… ER…donkey? There they go——it’s 8:45 and they are right on time.
I wonder why donkeys can’t eat oranges ? Is it all citrus fruits ? I know kitties are not suppose to like citrus either (but researchers say kitties can’t taste “sweet” ! Hahahaha!
I don’t think Mama will forsake you for a donkey under the duvet.
Their owner says that all citrus is rejected, maybe because of the acidic taste…who knows? I’m sure Mr. Google knows. Will look. But kitties can sure taste chocolate, haha.
