(It’s Fry-day, and I’m not moving until I smell that fish sizzling in olive oil…)
But meanwhile:
1. A fun way to celebrate Christmas in July is __STUFFED TURKEY AND STUFFED TURKEY .
2. My favorite summer activity is _ looking for the best sun puddle with a nearby touch of shade and breeze.
3. When I sleep, my dreams are _very verbal but who the heck knows what I’m dreaming about…maybe stuffed turkey.
4. Seeing ENORMOUS DOGGIES IN THE VET_scare(s) me more than _going there!
But it’s FRY-DAY and we’re having fish in cornmeal for dinner, so I guess it’s a sort of Christmas in July in a way….
Sort of…
Er…okay, it’s not.
No sizzling yet…but I am a patient kitty.
MAMA! COOK THAT FISH, OKAY?
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Loulou! We think feasting on some stuffed turkey is the purrfect way to celebrate Christmas in July. More so, we hope you get that turkey soon!
Uh…we’re having a little imaginary Xmas, right? I did a reality check around here and there’s no feathered you-know-what in sight. But fun to imagine, right?
You made me giggle, LouLou!
Thanks, a good goggle before I go to my work is a great way to start off on the right foot/paw, so to speak/meow! LOL!
Did you get a fishy tidbit??
Yes, I did get a tiny morsel, but of course, even a nice helping is a tiny morsel to me, haha.
Loulou, I agree with your #2. That’s one of my favorite summer activities too. ~Ernie
We are so often on the same wavelength, beautiful Ernie. Comrade kitties.
Enjoy Fry-Day, Loulou. You look so comfortable on that bedspread. Makes me want to have a snooze too.
Well, this heat makes us all want a cool snooze.
Hope the fish was even better than stuffed turkey Loulou!!!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, it was but that xmas turkey in July is probably pretty tasty that is, if anyone actually roasted one!
I hope that sizzle showed up for you Loulou!
Oh, it did, a nice little piece of cabillaud, white fish, no frills….num.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I hope you scored some of that fish and eventually get some turkey. XO
Haha, that old turkey is a long way off, but yes…
Oh Loulou, I’ve tried to convince The Hubby to take up fishing as a hobby, then he’d fix them for The Eastside Cats to eat (we humans are vegan, so none for us.)
So far, he says it’s a good idea, but nothing happens.
He’s retired, and he’s told me stories about fishing with his father, so…?!?
Well, mama’s papa was a fly fisherman for pleasure and sanity…it’s one of the best meditations in tbis hectic world. And mama’s papa was in a hectic life but loved bringing home fish and brought river salmon home from Canada in dry ice!
