How long will this be going on…🎶? It is boring, getting stuck twice a day…malt paste aside…
Here goes our Friday Fun from mama this time.
1. Every July, I _am one year older, hahaha.
2. I could be Snow White’s 8th dwarf named _Troppo Veloce, (in Italian – Too Speedy). Sounds good, though, right?
3. I could use some _more tolerance for this pandemic and political unrest right about now.
4. I would like to start my own _business. Well, I did, and one was enough, but it would be fun to do again with what I learned from the first one.
But what I would like most is for our little kitty to feel better.
(As I have quoted too many times before, from Bette Davis, whoever she is, growing old is not for sissies…)
Well, I’m NO sissie.
Loulou, I totally agree with you. Getting old stinks! ~Ernie
Thank you, Ernie. Compatriots forever on that one!
that’s right you are NOT a sissy!!! Sending purrs and prayers that you are feeling better soon!!
Merci, oh wonderful kitty and doggy, I love to hear from you. I am better because THEY took that THANG off my shoulder.
Oh dear Loulou – we would ALL like it if you didn’t have to get jabbed and wear a sensor. BUT we are mighty happy to have you gracing our lives no matter what! I’m sure malt paste makes the punctures a little more bearable though. Your Mama did a great job of filling in and we noticed the musical notes by “How Long Will This Be Going On” and Mom wants your Mama to know that is one of her all time fave songs.
Happy Caturday!
Hugs, Teddy
OOH, did you beautiful mama sing along? Glad mama hit a happy note, haha
I don’t know when Mya was born!! But she’s 15 now or almost! But she still does caca and peepee and eats like a horse!!! Still goingg strong – like Loulou!
She’s fine, probably no problems other than loving to eat, as all doggies do!
We are all growing old and agree it isn’t for sissies. We saw your comment about our last name Alawine, Mom said that it comes from the French/German region of Alsace–Lorraine that apparently changed hands a few times. Sometimes it was in France sometimes it was in Germany. Anyway one of Daddy’s ancestors came over before the Revolutionary War. His Aunt has lots of interesting info on it.
LOVE the history of names. Wish we could see all the info. Maybe in a blog….?
Those were good answers and we’d love, love, love you to feel better too Loulou. Hugs from all of us.
Oh, boy, merci for that. I was at the vet again this morning and have to go back Wed for a glycemie curve as my sensor wore out and I don’t have room for a new one.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I pray LouLou is better soon too. That is a cool sounding dwarf name. 🙂 XO
Well, mama is sometimes so SPEEDY, papa calls her Speedina Ganzalata. Hey, she says, but things get DONE.
You might be Troppo Veloce, but in our eyes you are Molto Dolce, LouLou!
*She* feels you on that growing older stuff, too…though us pups are for sure not *there* yet…LOL!
We here, too, want you to feel a lot better, for a long time, OK? We’ll pawray for that. Yes we will and we do:)
Oh, merci all of you. These vet trips are wearing…but they took off that one that went kaput and made my leg jump every now and then! I think they hit a nerve. THE NERVE!!!!
Oh LouLou, we want you to feel better too ! Our Buzz cat needs two sets of eye drops daily but at least he doesn’t have to get a shot ! Purrs and purrayers !
Oh, Buzzy Boo, I hope your eyes are better, but you do NOT want a sensor!!!
Wait a minute. I answered this before, no? Am going nuts. Almost wrote mutts…Buzzy Boo I hope your eyes get better. xxxxx
Oh, Loulou!
And here I am, feeling punky because Sweetie sang the song of her people ALL NIGHT LONG.
Seems a minor hardship, compared to some.
Bette Davis was one tough lady1
Uh, do you mean the “song of her people” when…er…amorous, or just the “song of her people”as kitties do? That first one could drive you to drink! Poor Sweetie-poo….and yes, she was a tough cookie, mama says, but nicer than old Joan Crawford who was supposed to be a terror to everyone.
