I’m sneaking up on mama as she cavorts around the garden doing really puzzling things!
Well, I am actually beginning to feel Ms Springtime on the verge of dancing through our garden. We have little yellow something-or-others popping up their little heads near the lavender, and mama has planted something called Dinosaur Kale that our friend brought back from Hawaii and uh, oh, I am watching mama, crazy as a hoot owl, tripping through the beds just tossing out seeds helter skelter, whatever that means, so I guess we’re going to have a lot of surprises, come April or so!
Mama is out of her mind. Here she is tossing out seeds like a madwoman with no thought aforethought, whatever that is! We need this like a hole in the head.
How am I going to figure out which plants I’m supposed to “water” and which ones I’m not?
HAHA, just kidding. I am too much of a lady to water any old where, and I have my favourite spots, near the roses. Mama wonders why they are so big in spring, haha. It’s our secret, okay?
Doesn’t this look as if mama is cradling me? I thought I’d help her out with the nutty seed-sowing.
See what might happen in April if I help…er…you know?

Wow! Already you have a beautiful garden. You must be a very busy kitty!
Well, thank you but if we don’t plant, we will have nothing but a nice garden of pebbles.
It’s still too cold here…and they even say we might get some more snow. Nothing popping out of the ground just yet.
Well, mama is making a little green house in her office with some planters on a support and the morning sun will do the rest. We hope. Last year the tomatoes got too leggy, whatever that means, and they didn’t transplant well.
Wow Loulou – your blog a winner!!?? I’m not surprised – and so proud of you!! BRAVA!!!!!
Well, you know you can count on me to water and fertilize the plants and eat the cherry tomatoes – any time!! And mama can’t wait to see the new Dinosaur Kale from Hawaii!! It’s gotta be HUGE – or a rare species for sure. Meanwhile, my mama struggles with her window boxes and herb garden on the drink cart. She did buy a cactus to go under the wine rack for an added touch of greenery. It’s still alive.
Some bird dropped a seed in mama’s planter box and it’s a succulent and will save a piece for your mama. It’s BLOOMING.
LouLou your Mama is just getting into the Spirit of Spring, like one of those Woodland Nymphs . The birds may help unscatter some of those seeds.
Uh, oh, BIRDIES. Forgot about THOSE. I hope we have a couple of lettuces at least!
Oh yes, Mom says roses are acidic loving, so she says that why the roses like when you, Loulou, “water” them. Tee hee hee! With all those seeds, you’re sure to get lots of birdies to stalk! There are yellow daffodils and purple hyacinths in bloom in the garden here. There are also lots of weeds! Je t-aime!
Me t’aime aussi!!! Wow hyacinths and daffies! Wish we had more fleurs.
