Well, I’m thankful that I have a garden to gaze at and that it’s warm enought to go out in it and check up on the coriander and parsley (that’s all we have right now…winter greens).
But as always, I am thankful for ferals being taken care of in so many places and for all of you who do that in your neighborhoods.
I was going to put in a Washington Post story about how having a dog on your lap at the dentist helps get through the trauma of major dental work, but sometimes it cannot be opened with a link.
So, just imagine having your poochie on your lap when you next have major teeth work!!!
Not sure I could put up with that drill….I’ll turn this over to the doggies.
How nice that you got to go out and enjoy the garden, Loulou. It’s still too cold here to do that. Not to mention, everything is looking pretty brown.
C’est pas grave, dear Ernie, as it is important for us kitties to “hibernate” in winter and get rested for printemps!
I would think a dog would have to be very “chill” in order to sit through all the noise in a dentist’s office…..I can’t imagine Teddy on my lap – he’d be demanding pets from the hygienist and dentist and my teeth would NEVER get examined! HAHA
Hugs, Pam
I would love a kitty or a doggy on my lap….but …but….well, would the dentist allow that? Maybe just bring your fave ‘stuffie’ to cuddle with!
I try to meditate when I have to be in there, major or not…it is NOT my fav place, even just for a cleaning…
Your garden looks so pretty and green…everything here is still brown…though thankfully the snow has all but gone….but, well, who knows what nature has up its sleeves?!
Indeed! Maman Nature certainly can throw some curves lately and yes, maybe half a Xanax wold do it haha.
What a wonderful garden to gaze in, Loulou. Dentists are necessary but so scary – I think having a dog on my lap would make it much better.
Maybe a very quiet purring kitty along with the passed-out doggy.
Glad you got to enjoy your garden. XO
Merci, Ms E and now our neighbor is rototilling his down below so things are poppin’.
Glad you got to go out in your garden. XO
Wish you were here to enjoy it. Nice cookies!
I have a tee shirt that says :Physically I am here, but mentally I am at home with my cat.” I wear it to the dentist and the doctor’s appointment and will probably have it on when I go to get my income tax prepared….
HA HA HA that’s priceless! If only taxes were….LOVE the idea of that shirt at the tax office,
