A nice scratching place, too…please don’t look…
Well, it has been too cold to tiptoe through the tulips, but today I girded my loins, or is it girdled, haha, and took a stroll through all the WONDERFUL grass that has come up with the rains.
They are called ‘weeds’, mama says, but for me, they are chewable delights until mama decides to clear the garden and plant her roses. Even then, she MIGHT leave me a nice little weed patch, I’m certain.
I mean, won’t she?
Oh, this is heaven, heaven, I can munch ’til I lunch…(chomp, chomp).
What’s this? A rogue nasturtium growing out from under the mulch bag?
Mama, you really need to tidy up out here, okay?
BUT WAIT A MINUTE! PLEASE LEAVE SOME WEEDS!
I’m going in to remind her. She left me out here while she sneaked in to make PLUM PUDDINGS, whatever they are!
I was supposed to help stir in the butter, DARN!
Oh, well, weeds will have to do…
We would never watch a lady digging Loulou. Now about those weeds get moving will you
YES, digging is very personal…
Nice to see some green. Around here, everything is pretty much brown.
Oh, winter is acumen in, eh?
I see you are a fan of a nice salad just as I am Loulou. We have lots of weeds but still have some green grass in the lawn in spite of the cold and snow. I do enjoy my “greens”….don’t need any salad dressing on it either!
Hugs, Teddy
Hmm, salad dressing, a bit of Italian extra virgin and a dash of mama’s vinegar…hmmm?
LOL – Loulou what is it abut weeds we like so much? From time to time I munch on them – but I’m not allowed to do that – but I pee on them with GLEE! Isn’t that what they’re there for? And lucky YOU – maybe you’ll get some plum pudding!!! But Mamma did get e some doggie paté to mix in with my kibbles!! That works!
Wait a minute, Mya, you pee on WEEDS, or grass? Uh, oh….
That is a lot of plum puddings. Very impressive XO
Well, there are several Brits here who might feel at home come dessert…
Can’t you have a taste of the puddings LouLou ? Or maybe a little mincemeat ? (without raisins.) Be careful which weeds you et too as they aren’t all good for kitties.
Thank you for that advice, but I have been eating the grass in this garden for 10 years and it’s all we have. Mama planted some for me and it…uh…migrated a couple of times.
You look like you were having a big time out there!
Well, it was one day out of this week…now the weather has turned.
