I have my Christmas eyes on…maybe one should be red! Maybe more nip…
1. A Christmas pet peeve I have is ___well, I don’t really have many except the overkill commercially, WAY out of hand each year and so much hype that Christmas disappears into it…hey, maybe this meant a “pet” peeve! Don’t have any of those except wishing more animals would be adopted at Christmas
2. I don’t like spending money on __things that don’t work, like a garlic press I got for mama on Instagram that is AWFUL and rocks and doesn’t press ANYTHING through it’s holes. A total bust.
3. I eat my fair share of __both my foods this time of the year (but I do that all year long, haha).
4. I __love watching mama curling the ribbons with the blade of her scissors_ when (she is) wrapping Christmas gifts.
Great fill in answers, Loulou. Do you play with the ribbon when your mama wraps?
I rap with the ribbon while my mama plays, haha. Just making a bad joke…I used to play with ribbones but when I became a woman, I put away childish things…another bad joke…I like watching but there’s not much action on my part nowadays…
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I bet your mama wraps beautifully. XO
HAHA, there are always those corners at the end of a package, mama says, that never seem to wrap nice and square! Does that happen to you? Probably not!
Those are great fill ins and we totally agree with your #1 and #2…in the fill ins that is, Hahah!
Do your laser eyes twinkle like the lights on the tree??
HAHA, those numbers have many meanings, haha.
Loulou, I recall feeling so very special when I was taught to make ribbon curls like your meowmy does.
Oui, mama’s mama taught her about wrapping long ago and now things just come in an Amazon bag. haha.
We love reading your fill–ns LouLou ! We guess you could say that garlic press was a lemon ?
HA HA HA…it WAS a lemon and it looked so effective on Instagram. So much for quirky filming and those fast videos of things that don’t work. Mama thinks the garlic was parboiled before they crushed it with the lemon-thingy. You are so funny.
Good job filling in the blanks Loulou…..My Mom curls ribbons with her scissors too but in the last year or two she has also resorted to those hideous stick-on bows instead of making her own. She says it saves time. I think she just needs to be more patient! We also hope that people remember the wonderful potential pets in shelters this time of year – what greater gift than giving one or more of them a REAL home for Christmas!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh, mama can understand the store-bought bows and like HER mama, keeps usable gift wrapping from year to year if we get something with save-able bows or ribbon. Still.mama would love to just hand a friend something she thinks he/she/it/they would like and be done with it! Sort of like the tooth fairy, no frills, haha.
Seams you realy enjoy life
Oh, we do, we do and hope you do, too. Merci for the visit.
