Oh, no, not again. It’s almost that time where little anthros skip around in funny clothes and pretend they are witches and goblins and super heroes, whatever they are. Am I going to dress up? Well, I’m not sure. After mama read the book about the inner world of us kitties, she started thinking that maybe I should be ASKED first if I want to look like an idiot or not, haha. I mean, I know for a fact that kitties and doggies feel foolish in those collars they sometimes have to wear to protect themselves, so why wouldn’t we feel a bit weird in a witch costume?
Well, mama has to admit that she put me in a mask once and I just sat there, tolerating the abuse, haha. Actually I looked sort of cute, I thought, but this year, heaven knows what she’ll come up with. I do love looking at the original costumes that so many kitty families find for their members but I’m thinking, maybe I should dress mama up in a DOGGY SUIT! Let’s see how she likes THAT. Maybe the one used in Cujo when the poor St. Bernard shuffled off his mortal coil and they had to use a Doberman in a canine costume!
We’ll see. But all I know is that when I go out door to door, there had better be some really good treats, or I’ll pull out some of my tricks I have in mind and those anthros won’t forget THIS Halloween easily…
MAMA, I AM NOT WEARING THAT NINJA TURTLE SUIT!!!
Maybe I’ll just wear a sheet and let them wonder where on earth I am. But there’s time to ruminate on this dilemma. More to come…

Mama’s sis in law sent this article on the fires and how they have affected the housing shortage that was already prevalent in the area, but the article has such a lovely ending, we wanted to publish the link here.
And thank you, FEMA, for helping so many.
Mom thinks you’d look cute in the goldfishy getup that she got me. Run for cover, I say! The pic you sent me of you behind the gold mask looks like you’re ready for a great masquerade ball. Who will your prince be to such a ball? I am smitten for one tuxie princess, but there just might be room on my arm for a Loulou Princess, too… Purrs.
We could do some damage, that’s for SURE!
As our mum and dad are British this cat dressing up is not our cup of tea.
Very few cats look as good as Coco the Couture cat in her glory (especially not us * sigh *)
Well, will take a look at Coco the Couture Kitty…and love your pun!
The only costumes we’ll wear are virtual ones.
Right on, kitties. Right on!!
I am fairly certain your Mama wouldn’t put a costume on you, (at least we hope not!) I won’t with Cody (other than a bandana or something) because he would HATE it! We don’t get trick or treaters here because we are in an apt building, we have a condo in an apt building and they aren’t allowed to trick or treat here.
Some people have all the luck. Well, we’re on the third floor and all the rest are empty, as far as I tell, plus the 31st, 1st and 2nd of November is Tuttisanti–all saints day and NO ONE WILL BE IN TOWN. Hallelujah.
LOL – I can just see your mama in a doggie costume!!!! Maybe you and I could dress as a humans!! When mama lived in New Orleans, her doggies had an entire wardrobe of costumes!! But Sassy the cat? NOPE. She was having NONE of that. Mama didn’t even try. And I see that look of horror on your face as you even consider what might be in store!! I do like the sheet idea – Catsper the friendly ghost? That way you can just hide out while mama and papa rack up the treats to share with you later.
CATSPER—that’s perfect. Mya, you always have the best ideas…thank you!
I think you would look lovely in a princess crown for Halloween. XO
Hey, what about the QUEEN crown, Ellen? Who’s wearing that?
Loulou, our mom bought Astrid an adorable bee costume. It’s the first time she has ever done anything so silly. We are all pretty darn positive she isn’t going to wear it. Misty May and Lily are worried as it will fit them as well. We’d love to see your mom in a doggie suit. MOL! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
OH, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy, I hope so much to see you, Astrid, as a buzzer!!!
My, you look very surprised.
Have a wonderful Saturday!
Noodle and crew
Yeah, THEY want to dress me up!!!
Lookin’ gawjus as always LouLou. We kinda like gettin’ dressed up. But, fankfully, mommy doesn’t put us in costumes. Dresses are nice. We’re not so sure we’l like some of those costumes. ‘Specially da ones with a extra arms. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
Oh, but maybe extra arms to get more treats, haha.
Well, LouLou, given your natural costume, you could go trick or treating as Fred Astaire or a penguin.
I’ll take Fred, whoever he is. Wasn’t there a Ginger? But I don’t have high heels.
OH NO! That looks like a “I just got spooked” face!
