She’s in there somewhere…
Well, I’m glad mama didn’t take me along but all of those crazy kids and anthros and anthro kids went go-karting, whatever THAT is, and I said to mama, “Are you sure you want to do that (I didn’t say, “at your age”, but I would never be so impolite) and she looked askance (love that word) at me and siad, “Loulou, are you out of your little kitty mind? OF COURSE I’M GOING GO-KARTING!
And that was that.
And so she did and on the second run, after papa had coached her on how to take certain corners and how to go flat-out (like me in the garden chasing spook-cats) on the straightaways and after having done two cycles and taken a corner really well (she thought since she’d botched the first time), she started for a straight, time-gaining run and TWO IDIOTS missed taking the curve THE RIGHT WAY and banged into mama’s car, snapping her neck in a most unpleasant way and so she pulled over and lost the rest of the run and was fuming when she got back to the start.
Those guys are just lucky they still have their…well…whatevers.
They also hit her little grandson’s car and that is NOT ACCEPTED.
Hey, that’s life around here in summers with kids, and I made her put a bag of frozen chicken broth from Picard (our frozen food gourmet store) on her poor neck and she took some acetaminophen and all was well in an hour or so. Everyone says chicken soup cures! But I can tell just from her expression that it was a BIG BANG and frozen pack or not, she’s aching.
Maybe there is little politeness on a go-kart track—I wouldn’t be surprised. Even in the family, mama says that those guys are competitive as if they were driving in the Grand Prix!!!
They should watch me when I take off and get some pointers….
Well, there I am, that little dot on the right chasing that other dot. I sneaked out to the go-kart place and let myself rip!!!
Tired but happy…that’s hard work.
Ouch!
I hope your mom is fine now! This should be a fun and everyone should take care!
Best wishes.
My mama is fine but oh, boy, was she miffed that she couldn’t finish her rounds and improve her time!!!! She was doing SO well (and she’s not…er…30…). Papa is a fiend for Go-Karting and so are mama’s stepkids and they are GOOD.
Oh Loulou, hope your Mum’s neck is alright. That sounds a bit scary, but please do remind your anthro’s about this incident every time they try and go out for fun – it’s much safer for them to stay at home and adore the kitty, delight in the kitty, give thanks to the kitty, feed the kitty delicate, exquisite morsels etc etc …and this is better for Loulou too
Over here we’d call those two who were a nuisance “yobbos” that would be after my ape had slapped their rude faces off for frightening a little kid grrr
Luff
Mungo
Well, I certainly want more info about those yobbos and your ape!!! Mama can’t stand to see any kid anywhere scared by apes or otherwise and she gets pretty hot under the collar when mothers or daddies yell at or whack their little kids. None of her business of course, but still…
That is some position, Loulou.
Don’t forget to come by tomorrow and check out the pet parade anniversary giveaway. Do you have a problem leaving a comment on all blogger blogs or just ours?
Hey, I have been leaving comments on Jan’s Funny Farm all the time now and are they not getting to you? I push ‘send’ and it says ‘sent’ so I thought they were arriving.
I have trouble on other blogs on which I have to have a password from WordPress and I can’t figure out how to do that even though I write on WordPress every day.
My normal password doesn’t function so I just give up and leave no message. But I want to!!! For Jan’s, the messages are easy to send.
